I purchased this for my sons lab. They reside in Virginia Beach. Regardless of the weather conditions, a run on the beach and retreiving a ball from the ocean is a daily must. The first day he wore it the waves were 2-4 feet and actually stood the dog straight up! We questioned what would have happened if he was not wearing his vest. He loves it and now knows that when the vest goes on, he is headed for the beach./////definately

This float coat is great. I put it on my lab when were on the boat, he likes to be adventurous and jump off. When were swimming, he keeps him higher in the water which makes me feel safer. It also provides enough flotation to keep my 95 lb lab boyant. The handle on the top is in the perfect location, its great for getting him up on the dock and back in the boat.The only downfall is the sizing. I measure my dog and purchased the appropriate size per the chart, when i got it, there was no way it was going to fit on him, it was way too small so i had to exchange it. Also the clasp in front has a tendancy to ride up, and it starts to choke the dog. it could use a loop to hold it in place./////Already have!
