This collar’s amazing strength makes it ideal for big dogs that can generate big pull and big force.
Built with security in mind, using high-strength aluminum hardware, high-strength tubular webbing, and a high-strength lace-back option (see More Info for details).
One unique and convenient feature standard on all Ruff Wear collars: a separate mini D-ring ID attachment to separate tags from the leash for less annoying rattle.
Available in 3 colors to match the DoubleBack™ Leash.

I bought a collar and leash for both of my dogs it is a very strong and rugged colar the only thing i would change about it is its width and make it a bit wider (1 1/2") to distribute pressure as not to choke the dog

Stylish

The collar looks good and I like the separate leash loop. However, the collar does seem to loosen up a bit unlike traditional double backing used on climbing harnesses. It's nice that there's an extra plastic clip where you can tuck the tail end of the collar. I like the Ruffwear logo on end of the collar too. Overall it's a good collar and you can't beat the sale price.

We already had a Ruff Wear collar for Brutus, our rott mix, and wanted to get the same collar for our new adoptee, Bennie. The collar is lightweight and super secure - I also love that the tags and leash do not attach to the same hook. We love all of our Ruff Wear gear - I just wish the matching leash was still available :(

PERFECT! Best collar ever
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
My 85lbs pitty broke her previous two nylon collars with the plastic clips. I didn't want to invest in a leather collar or make her look too tough. When I found this I knew it was the solution to all our problems. I also LOVE the matching leash. Both give us great control, light weight, and sporty. The discounted price and the unavailability of the leash now scares me . PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE!

It won't fail
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
If you get it on and adjusted, it's not going to fail regardless of the size or pull of the dog. But it's hard to adjust. Maybe I'll get more proficient at it as time goes by, but tightening/loosening isn't a snap; if your dog is jumpy, forget it.

Strong, light, and good lookin'. No annoying buckles to rattle or chafe. The Small size is too big for my little guy (20lb Beagle), but the Large (and matching leash) are perfect for the big dogs.

This collar doesn't break as there is no clip to break. I wrote our phone number directly on it as I don't like tags hanging down that can catch on any thing. He's very active. Great collar for utility dogs.

Good

I like how this collar looks, but it seems really big. I orginially had them (I bought two, one for each dog) set in the double back setting and it showed a lot of the "under color." I wasn't such a fan of that. So, I reset them to the "normal" feeding and they look a lot better, but the tail of the collar goes over the name tag holder.

The doubleback collars are great. Tough and durable. And the hardware is exceptionally strong. Only drawback is, our dogs are only allowed to have quick release collars at day care otherwise I would never take the collar off.

We had been searching for collars for our 2 dogs that were durable enough to withstand the abuse of a lab, and also attractive enough to wear in the city. We LOVE these collars. Adjusting them takes some getting used to. We bought one in blue and one in pink.

my great pyr gets out of every collor we have ever got her. and with her not being the type that stays in one place for to long we needed a collar that knew how to keep up with her! and man did we find it this collar really knows how to "sit and stay" if you know what i mean. we loved it so much that we got 2 more for our other dogs. and with the way the mastiff pup is growing im sure glad we did. this collar is as tuff as him and at 187 pounds and 10 months old he gives it more then a little pull when going for a walk by the river. if you have a big dog or a excape artist this is the collar for you!
