The Front Range® Harness is a padded everyday dog harness that is easy to put on and comfortable for dogs to wear. A key piece of gear for canines embarking on a life of adventure with their humans, the harness features two leash attachment options: an aluminum V-ring centered on the dog's back for everyday walks, and reinforced front clip at the dog's chest to redirect dogs that pull on leash. The ID pocket keeps dog tags quiet and easily accessible, and the reflective trim and light loop for The Beacon™ boost visibility in low-light conditions.

Complete the kit with the matching Front Range® Dog Collar and Front Range® Dog Leash.

*Customers may receive product with variations in V ring finish. The aluminum V ring on the Front Range® Harness will have either a matte or chrome finish.

WHAT’S NEW: Improvements for easier adjustment on girth straps; more recycled materials in shell, webbing, and lining materials.

Reviews Summary
Customers say this harness is comfortable, durable, and effective at reducing pulling during walks. Many appreciate the dual leash attachment points on both front and back, along with the padded design that doesn't restrict shoulder movement. Users find it easy to put on and adjust, with multiple adjustment points accommodating growing puppies and various dog shapes. The harness holds up well to daily use, hiking, and active adventures, with many customers using them for years. Common praise includes the secure fit, quality construction, and reflective elements for visibility. Some mention the small ID pocket and light attachment point as useful features. Always a favorite

I recently adopted a 7 year old Havanese who had been kept in a kennel for 6 years, she had never been outside, I introduced her to the harness and the great outdoors, she loves them both.

    Love front range harness

This is our fourth rescue dog and our 6th front range harness. Over the years we have purchased various sizes and colors (I wish we could get in navy), and love their look and function. No fear of our dogs wiggling out of the harness and strength of it amazing - gives us peace of mind that our dogs aren’t going anywhere. Most recent purchase is the front range harness in Moonlight Mountain size XS. The color looks amazing on our newest rescue Sherman, a 14lb yorkie, bichon frise, poodle mix. Pic is him in Blue Pool. Please offer more colors.

    still great

My beloved Maebee past in July and her Front Range was still working great after 10+ plus years of service, though it was a bit ragged. I decided our new boy a deserved one of his own and it looks as good as ever.

Amazing Quality, with a Few Wishes for the Future!

We love the Ruffwear Front Range Harness so much that we have them in almost every color for both of our dogs! The quality is amazing, they hold up incredibly well, and they’re a staple for our outdoor adventures.

Please NEVER stop making the Blaze Orange color! It’s absolutely critical for keeping our dogs visible while hiking during hunting season. This color is a must-have for anyone who spends time outdoors with their dogs during those months.

My only wishes are that Ruffwear would release new colors more frequently and offer an extended-length version for deep-chested breeds, like Bernese Mountain Dogs, Saint Bernards etc. An option with a little more length through the chest would help achieve a better fit for these body types.

Great quality and fit. No strain on neck or shoulders.

Very happy with this harness. There's some room for her to grow and it seems to just shed any dirty spots itself. Thank you!
