great quality, well designed, like the separation of leash hoop and dog tag hoop. Well made and durable. A bit on the small side though. I could have gone extra large.

I like this collar for its appearance and ease of use. It matches the Flat Out leash that I LOVE, which is why I initially purchased it.

The separate hoop for tags is a nice idea, but the actual tag hoop seems a little flimsy, which is why I give only four stars, rather than the full five. My dog loves to roll in bushes and grass, which can undo such connections if they are not very strong.

Just got my first hoopie in the mail today! Looks great on my 5 month old Great Pyrenees mix! I bought the woody one, and my only complain would be I thought it would be a little thicker. Guess the solid ones are thicker than the pattern. However, its lightweight design will be great in the Texas heat! If you want somethin thicker though, I would stick to the solid colors. Overall I LOVE it! Especially the seperate ring for tags!

I have been very happy with every Reffwear product we have purchased for our dogs. Ruffwear is the toughest gear we have found for our active dogs. These collars are tough and look great.

Purchased one for each of my very active Aussies and am happy with them.
One thing I must point out is that the red one I got is a much heavier material than the Daisy pattern one. This was a little dissapointing since I expected both to be the heavy type. The web site didn't mention that difference.
BTW I have four Ruffwear leashes. They are the BEST in my opinion.

This is a great collar - it is strong and durable, it looks good and it has the cool extra feature which keeps the tags away from the leash. I really like the clip closure, it lets me take off the collar really easily when he plays with other dogs. This is our second one, our 100lb puppy outgrew the Medium, so we got him a Large...maybe we can use the Medium as a hand-me-down to someone, it is still in great condition!

I love this collar....and I especially like the extra loop for the dog tags.
Recently, I have been having some issue with the collar staying on. My dog is a young, 1 year old, energetic puppy...and when she pulls on the leash the collar just pops right off. We have been working on the whole not pulling thing, but she like to chase animals and meet and great other dogs....so she pulls....but just recently she's pulled so hard that the collar pops right off of her. The buckle hasn't broken, but I have had run loose into a road, but she's pulled to meet the dog on the other side. I'm sad about this because I really do like the collar design, but we are forced to get another collar to avoid her getting loose and running across anymore roads.
Can you make a hoopie collar with a more secure buckle?

This is my second Hoopie collar and leash set. The first one was yellow, my signature color. The color on this one is OK, but I like yellow better.

Love this collar. Lightweight, durable, looks great. Not super quick drying but better than most. I got the small for my four month old, 15-20 lb. puppy which fits him perfectly, with room to grow. Also picked up the medium, because I'm sure I'll still be loving this collar when he's all grown up. Definitely worth it!

The collar is light weight (great for the PS heat), closure does not rub her neck and very stylish. Had to buy two!

These collars are the best. The extra loop for the tags avoid a lot of leash errors. The dogs love 'em and they know which one is theirs'. We are on the third generation - not because they wore out, just to switch colors.

I really like this collar. It looks great and it seems to be wearing well. I like how soft it is. I have the glacial blue collar and it goes very nicely with the glacial blue knot-a-leash.

Looks sharp and is light weight , only complaint would be D ring shifts position and does not feel as sturdy as I would like

i love the collar. worth the money to me. i really like the leash eyelet and the separate loop for tag. had him in the fox river plenty of times and no stink yet. i bought the M collar for my pup ocoee and he is about 40lbs. perfect fit with lot of room to grow but he wont..

But will stick to black. Love these collars; only reason I did not rate 5 is that I would prefer the option of 5/8" or 3/4" for the Med instead of 1" as Large comes in. Used a L last year for a golden I fostered and it looked brand new 5 mos later (was black). Used a small green the past 4 for puppy and also looks new. Just received a M for aussie now that he is 7 months and wish it was a tad less thick. Also, the glacial blue color noted on the web site is not what arrived - its notably lighter (not sold locally so had to buy online).

this is a great lightweight, rugged, and stylish collar! we have sent many to rescue groups we support, and no complaints there! they are adopted out wearing ruffwear, certainly a boost to the ego heading out to their forever homes!! love this collar, easy to adjust, easy to put on!! only wish it were like the old ruffwear collar with the ready to clip silver loop on back! we own a lot of "vintage" ruffwear collars, and hope they come back soon!!

Great quality for such a good price. We have two older versions one in blue and one in green. These collars will hold up to our very stong and large dogs. The ring holds up like new. Would like to see collars to be available in twice the width of the regular style since Anatolians and other very large breeds need such a collar. Would also like to see a blaze orange color for the woods, a marble gray and various digital/regular camos would be cool. This is the only collar that can hold an Anatolian Shepherd beyond three months much less over a year. Would like to order more and will. Still need a collar for larger breeds.

A collar that is soft and supple, yet strong. The tag attachment keeps tags out of the way, and prevents excess jingling. The clip is durable and sturdy as well which makes us feel safe and confident!

I got the medium daisy hoopie collar for Josie and it fits well and is too cute! I can tell this will last a while!

The only adjustable collar I could find with a strong durable clasp AND a separate loop for tags.

After 1 week, the collar material is fraying. Moose does not have sharp claws nor scratch excessively, however, the RUFFWEAR name does not live up in this case for durability. Will NOT purchase again. Will RETURN and ask for refund.

This is one of the best quality collars I've found...and, it's reasonably priced. It's lightweight yet durable. With other collars, my dog scatched at his neck all the time. Since wearing his new Hoopie collar, he's hasn't scratched at this neck. I only wish that you'd make these same quality collars for small dogs too. I've been unable to find a simple, high quality collar for my yorkie. THANK YOU for giving consumers the option to purchase well designed, tasteful products made from high quality materials.

Soft, flexiable and easy to clip on and off. I also like the selection of colors. I have a female dog that has a tendency to be called a HE so the flower color was perfect, girly but not overly so!

Great collar. Fastens easily/securely with a separate ring for tags/light. Stays supple after encounters with water/mud and no evidence of any chaffing on either hound. Only very minor fraying after 3 years of hard wrestling at the bark park. Satisfied customers.

Great collar for my Lab mix, it stays put when she gets a little excited and decides to pull. If you had a camo pattern I would buy one for the Huskies so they can hunt gofers in style.

Bought one for each of my 20# terriers. They are very well made and durable, yet lighter weight than most collars of this size. The two separate rings make it very nice so the ID tags don't cling against the license (much more quiet!). Love the daisy print for my female, but bummed at the lack of cool prints for the boys (that's the ONLY negative!)

I picked this collar up for my Aussie (now 8 months) coz I liked the Daisy design. I got the Medium and it is nice and wide and the nylon is very soft (but tough)and I would suspect it to be more comfy for my dog to wear than a really stiff nylon collar. The extra tag loop is a cool addition and works well. The Daisy design is girly and pink (to my delight) but not overly so. This is our new every day collar. For leash training I will still use my stiffer nylon collar coz if you have to tug on the leash for a correction the collar will slowly loosen( I guess, that is coz of the soft material). Nonetheless a sweet collar that is very well made and will last a long time...besides my pup gets to roam free most of the time anyway :-)

After using many of the other collars on the market, i decided to give this one a try. I love it! and so does my dog.. It fits well without loosening over time and has a separate ring to attach the dog tags.

Love the hoopie collar. We got one for each of our two dogs. We love the seperate ID tag holder. They dry off relatively fast after going for a swim. Very sturdy

These collars are fantastic! They are light weight but strong. I love the color selection. Being able to hook the tags on a different hook so they don't jangle so much is wonderful. The dogs seem to like them also, they don't scratch at them half as much as the others they had on. These are really great collars!

Love this collar! My two older dogs have had this collar for about five years and I love them...wish you could go back to the metal closers/attachment...like your older models which had this feature.

I have two of these collars one for each of my dogs. I have owned the collars for about 2 years and they still look like new! I chose this collar because of the plastic ring that holds the tags so I do not need to clip their leashes to the same ring. This is a nice feature!

My cattledogs are rough on everything but a year later, their hoopie collars still look like new!
