Jett and Bazuka love this toy...They can play tug, retrieve, Frisbee, find, it is very versatile, easy to find due to the bright color and they LOVE it!

I'm not sure if I got a dud or not, since the majority of the reveiws have been 5 star but I'm not sure how I feel about this piece. Miss Jackson loves it, as she is not a ball retriever, but loves the water and her flying disks. The size was nice and it's lightweight but I had the hardest time throwing it any distance. It goes right and dives every time. I tried bending it but didn't help. The only was for it to work is if I start the throw hard left at an angle. It then straightens up and flies a litte farther. Still, she loves it but I wish I could get some more distance for her to swim out to...

Crash is a destroyer of ALL toys...except for the Hydro Plane! We have had the one in NC for nearly 2 yrs and when we purchased a home in NJ, I had to get one for Crash's NJ turf.

Very tough and easy to throw. We have had other similar toys like this that were punctured and distroyed pretty quick. The Hydro Plane is getting alot of use and shows no signs of wearing out. Great item for active dogs

While the hydroplane throws and floats well, my lab ripped it to shreds on the first retreive! Needs to be made more durable!!Also,charging $10 for shipping and handling( which is 50% of the cost of the item) is absurd.

We had another "frisbee" that Gracie loved but as soon as the BIG YELLOW one arrived - forget it , she was in love. We cannot throw it enough times for her. The toy is easy to pick up if she misses the catch. The BIG YELLOW FRISBEE is just as great in the water. I washed it & it came out looking a lot better. We love it so much Gracie will be getting a BIG RED FRISBEE!! Hooray for Gracie!!

Camo had it ripped and torn in about 2-3 hours. I was dissapointed that it was an expensive toy and it had such great reviews, but it certainly wasn't strong enough for my Camo. That being said, even though the toy is a mess my Chocolate Lab Gabe loves the toy and the two dogs can still play tub of war. If Ruff Wear wants to test supposedly indestructible toys they should send one to Camo and see how it does with him. If there's a tiny defect he'll find it and work on chewing it up!!

This is the best flying ring, period! Easy to spot, floats high on the water, and incredibly durable! Good for a game of fetch (land or water) and extreme tug of war! My Lab LOVES it, great product!

These Dogs are pets, and love adventure in the creeks,lakes and rivers of East Tennessee. A ring that floats and can't easily be destroyed...we call the ring of joy. Must have for any toy box!

Dogs can't get enough of fetch. Lab catches it in her mouth every time. This is the second one we have bought. Dogs loved the first one to pieces literally. Dogs love that is red and easy to spot. We love that it floats.

All three of our dogs love the hydro plane. Whether it's chasing and catching it, playing tug (with fellow canines or humans) or simply running around the yard with it in their mouths (and encircling their heads), this is by far one of their favorite toys. And tough, too! It took nearly two years for the golden, aka Capt. Destructo, to render our first hydro plane unfit for play.

When I ask my 2yr weimeraner'where's your frisbee?' he takes off and finds it-great fun at the dog park. He runs around with his nose through the hole-what a hoot. This is our second-the first lasted better than a year.

Colt is a rugged and tough hunting dog who is extremely hard on his toys. Catching frisbie's is a favorite pastime of his and this particular one absorbs his slobber and flies well so he can jump high to get it - it is hilarious to see him running back to me with his nose sticking through the center cut out - it's been a great addition to our activities and it is super friendly on his mouth - no sharp plastic edges which sometimes happens with the plastic kind. Awesome

My dog loves this frisbee, so do all the dogs at the dog park..lol...He will play for hours with it. Hes a power chewer and he has yet to destroy it...love love love it.

Ellie loves this frisbee! We live on a lake and she retrieves the frisbee. It is so easy for her to hold and swim. I ordered the second one becasue Ellie wouldn't go retrieve her frisbee. The first one is still floating in the lake it has been 3 weeks, wishing for warmer weather and a boat!!!

Our Malinois loves swimming and the Hydro Plane works great. High visibility makes it easier for her to find. The Hydro Plane is a constant piece of our field trip kit now!

I love the Hydro Plane & so does my dog. It's easy to fly, extremely durable & well made. We play every morning with it after our walk & our dog Jack gets delirious with excitement when I take it out. This toy is definitely a favorite and a great way to burn off some energy for high energy breeds. Excellent toy:)

Our 2 yr old weimeraner loves to pack it to the dog park. Flies great and is easy on the mouth. It's a kick when he cruises past another buddy when he has the Hydro plane flipped over his head. Seems to 'tone down' the mean guys he contacts.

Dogs loved it, but even when only using on the beach, it lasted maximum 6 weeks. Too expensive to only last that time period with such restricted use.

This toy has been a blast to use with my dog. Every time it flips over his head I crack up, as do the people around us... he has fun showing it off- literally prancing with the toy in his mouth, fetching, and swimming with it. Great toy, XLarge is perfect for my 70+ dog.

This is a big toy. Our leo doesn't really fetch and so even though it is her size, our 45lb aussie uses it the most. It floats, which is great for playing fetch in the water. We take it on canoe trips because basically in the thick woods the water is the only open space to play fetch. He carries it flipped up over his face so he can see perfectly through the hole in the center. We have had it for a little over six months and it is finally about to die. Our aussie is rough on his toys and destroys a plastic frisbee in a matter of minutes. It is also softer on their mouth than a plastic frisbee. This one has lasted through months of almost daily use and has lost enough of its shape that it doesn't fly as well as it once did. I really recommend it for medium dogs and up that love the water and frisbees! We just ordered two more.

I have two large labradors, but this toy is pretty big. When they grab it in their mouth, it goes over their head. There has been a few times it has went on their head and around their neck. Quite funny, but I don't leave it out sometimes because I don't want that to happen when I'm not home. Overall, very durable and great toy.

My dog gets more excited to see this than any other toy. Flies well and holds up to his rough use of it. I'd recommend it for any dog that likes catching flying objects.

the toy only lasted 3 days with four 60-70# dogs playing 6hrs a day. Floated well. tug-of-wars did it in. Chewing didn't help either. One heavier grade of canvas might be in order for this crew. But then maybe not! kept me entertained if nothing else. Probably one dog doing retrieval exercise would let this last a long time.

We own most of the dog frizbees on the market. Some are not good, some are OK, some are really nice and then a very few are in a class by themselves. The Hydro Plane has become our favorite. It flies great, is easy on the dog's mouth, it floats high, and is easy to grab for both humans and dogs. It's great for play on land or sea! This toy is super durable unless you have a champion chewer and you don't supervise. THIS IS A WINNER!!!

We have gone through innumerous frisbees, and Ruff Wear is the only product that can stand up to my 2-year-old lab. She plays frisbee at the park 2x per day. Once a week or so she'll get into a tug of war with other dogs. After months of use the frisbee still shows no signs of wear and tear. We love it so much that we're giving them as house warming presents when we visit friends on our road trip this summer.

I have a labradoodle that loves to fetch and swim in the swimming pool. This has become his favorite toy. The hole in the middle makes it is easy for him to grab ahold of and swim with. It is durable so he doesn't chew it up.

Before this my dog wouldn't catch or fetch anything but a ball. Normal disks were too hard for his mouth and he had trouble picking them up. Cleans easy, doesn't show wear, and he loves to give it a good death shake after he catches it! No signs of teeth marks or tears even after both dogs play tug with it.
