great

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

My rescues and i do agility and you have to have a leash that goes on and off quickly. In some events your dog runs naked. so this is a great way to control your dog when you are entering and leaving the arena. With mutiple large high drive dogs,I do not leave collars on when they are crated or playing so this is just awsome. Very well made too. I will be ordering more!

Excellent!

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

I bought this leash planning to use it for agility trials when you need to remove all leashes/collars from your dog quickly. It works very well for that purpose, but has turned into my favorite leash all around. It's so easy to slip on and off, and I really like the padded handle that makes it easy to grip even if my dog pulls!

AWESOME

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

As a frequent flyer paired with a service dog, this comes in handy. Before we get in line, I can slip off his normal collar and leash and put this on him so we can clear the security checkpoint without setting off the metal detector. The handle is padded for comfort which comes in handy as I generally end up with the loop around my elbow as I'm gathering up our things. When other handlers ask about no/low metal combos, this is the product I recommend.

Not for us

Would you recommend this product?.: No

The construction of the leash is fine, but the concept isn't - this is a choking leash. If you have a dog that pulls when walking, or worse, chases after animals or other dogs, this leash will hurt them. It chokes in different places when they pull, so maybe 4 times out of 5 it will be fine. But if they suddenly pull even once with it slipped in a different position, they can do permanent damage. Not great for dogs that pull!

Not working for me

Would you recommend this product?.: No

I read other reviews about "pullers" so I bought this leash. Maybe I am not using it correctly... if I put it snug and high around the head, it eventually slips down and chokes my dogs. Going to return them unless someone has some pointers. Overall a nice leash though.

Fantastic

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

Very rarely does an online purchase actually exceed expectations. I bought this on the recommendation from a friend, and its exactly what I wanted. A durable, easy to use, effective leash that my puppy couldn't destroy in five minutes. I needed something I could quickly slip on him when opening the door so he couldn't dart out, and also for correction control while walking in the park. This fit the bill perfectly, and is comfortable both for my dog's neck and my hands. I love it.

We take this everywhere

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

With a breed that cannot be off leash and instinctively pulls, I was really struggling for a while to find something that effectively controlled pulling without resorting to a training collar for every walk. This has been the perfect solution. The rope is sturdy and secure. The stitching is solid, and the length is just right. We've had our leash for 2 years now, and it's still going strong. We've used it for everything, including walks around the neighborhood and hiking/backpacking. Paired with a carabiner it's great for tying out the dog when we take long water breaks or while I make camp for the night. Even after getting soaked at the beach, the rope doesn't stink or fray. If I'm taking my dog somewhere, this leash comes with us.

I thought this would be a good leash to have since it's easy to slip on and off and the dog doesn't necissarily need a collar. Now I'm not so sure. It either slips off his head really easily or potentially chokes him. But maybe I just haven't been able to figure out how to use it correctly.

Great

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

I like this leash a lot. It's comfortable and is very durable. It is nice of the dogs neck as well although the dog can't slip it. I love how the adjuster is silicone and doesn't budge unless you move it which provides extra protection against slipping it. It's nice for hyper dogs because you don't have to fool with clipping a leash and its great for quick potty brakes although its not my favorite for walks but I still love it!

This leash is great and very convenient. Our dog uses a martingale collar when walking, and this allows us to walk him without having to put that collar on. The Best Leash Ever!

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

I have been using this leash on my female lab, who is a puller, for the past two and half years. It is the only thing I use on her. I just lost it at the beach, I'm so relieved to find that it is still available. I got an extra one, just in case I should lose it again. Someone at the beach just scored a very nice leash. It is, hands down, the most comfortable leash for dogs that pull. It also can stop some dogs from pulling all together.

Awesome

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

Great design overall - rope is flexible enough to provide a little cushioning when a dog pulls/jerks, handle is ergonomic and cushioned. Love the push-down rubber "stopper" to keep the slipcollar tighter so it doesn't open up like many slipleads. Have tried on large and medium breed dogs with success - looking forward to trying on small/toy breeds. An improvement would be a rope that holds the twists less - might be hard without a swivel, but perhaps a rope material change would help.

We started purchasing this leash for our adoptable dogs in our rescue just under a year ago. We are a pit bull rescue that focuses on rescuing adult dogs, so often times we have some pretty strong dogs that come into our program needing to learn leash manners. All of our trainers love slip leads and when properly used they can be such an amazing tool to teach a pup how to loose leash walk. The just-a-cinch leash is durable, high quality, comfortable, and well made! We LOVE these leashes and can't get enough of them!

Good

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

Rubber stopper holds firm but outer webbing around internal chord gets smushed up when moving the stopper. The nylon is easily cought on twigs, rocks, etc. allowing the material to begin to fray. A flame applied to the frayed material solves this issue. Handle is awesome. Length is awesome. Color is awesome. The metal ring that allows the cinch to work is smooth so it doesn't tug at the material or my puppy dog.

not great for using at the shelters

Would you recommend this product?.: No

Although easy to slip over the dogs head the 5 feet is too long for my purposes in walking the shelter dogs. The thickness of leash is more comfortable to hold but not when the dog is pulling hard as there is nothing to maintain that hold on the leash like a traffic handle or a a no slip area lower on leash to be able to grasp firmly to bring the dogs back in their kennels. Need to invent one to serve this purpose. Also the extra thickness of leash makes it easier for the dogs to grab and chew .

I got this to have a quick way to leash dogs when at shelters doing evaluations. While I wouldn't use a choke collar for everyday walks, it is handy in situations where the dog is shy or not leash trained and you need to get from point A to point B in a hurry. It seems well made and although it hasn't gotten a lot of use lately, so far, so good.

I was really dragging butt about getting a correctional leash for my husky because the conventional ones sold seemed so harsh. But he was dragging me everywhere, so I gave this one a try. It. Is. GREAT!! The rope is very gentle on the neck, and all the hardware and stitching is well done and holding together (a very big deal for a dog as strong as this one.) Lesser leashes have frayed and fallen apart within days of purchase...this one is holding up like a dream! After only a week of using it, walking the dog is more like a gentle outing and less like water skiing on land. =) Thanks!!

Great

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

We have a 3 month old vizsla puppy. Her name is Saylor. We are very active hikers and Saylor joins us often. All of our hikes deal with her having moments on and off the lead. Off the lead when we are isolated and on the lead when another hiker, biker, or horse passes by us. We were looking for a quick transition from off lead and on lead. Seems the colder it got the longer it would take us to snap other leads onto her collar. With this lead, after a couple sessions with baiting her into the lead with a treat, she walks right into the lead with no problem at all. I totally recommend this lead for any hiking family.

Easy on the hands/wrists of the walker (thank you!) and simple to use, I always carry an old one when I volunteer at the county shelter. Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

I love this leash! I don't have to worry about trying to keep my dog still or trying to find the D-ring on his collar to buckle his leash. This is especially great for the out doors, when all I need a leash for is walking him to the car and walking him from the car to the trail. And it's super quick and easy to slip on if I need to while walking on the trails. I use this leash at the dog park as well, for when some of the other dogs get a little too riled up or aggressive around my dog, and I need to leash him quickly to get him away. The silicone slider works wonders, stays in place, and ensures the slip leash wont undo itself when sitting loose on my dog's neck.

handy and safe

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

This is a great leash to keep in your car or in your pack and is especially handy in situations where you fear your dog might slip his collar. The silicone slider is way better than the old design- is easy to adjust and stays perfectly in place. Strong enough to keep my 90lb boy under control and safe when he realizes we aren't actually going to the park and instead are going to the vet :) As long as you put the leash on correctly (just like a slip collar- p is perfect, q is quit) the collar cinches when there is pressure/tension and releases when the tension is removed.
