Rubber stopper holds firm but outer webbing around internal chord gets smushed up when moving the stopper. The nylon is easily cought on twigs, rocks, etc. allowing the material to begin to fray. A flame applied to the frayed material solves this issue. Handle is awesome. Length is awesome. Color is awesome. The metal ring that allows the cinch to work is smooth so it doesn't tug at the material or my puppy dog.

Only complaint is leash is too long. our other slip leads are 4 feet which is the perfect size at the shelter but I like the feel of yours better. Hope you can make a shorter one.

Although easy to slip over the dogs head the 5 feet is too long for my purposes in walking the shelter dogs. The thickness of leash is more comfortable to hold but not when the dog is pulling hard as there is nothing to maintain that hold on the leash like a traffic handle or a a no slip area lower on leash to be able to grasp firmly to bring the dogs back in their kennels. Need to invent one to serve this purpose. Also the extra thickness of leash makes it easier for the dogs to grab and chew .

Just what I have been looking for. I like to walk Polly a few times a day but keeping a collar on a puli is not always an answer. I'd use the handle of my other leash in just this way but ended up bonking her on the head with the clip many times. This is perfect.

It's a rope leash, simple as it gets, lightweight and helps control the dog a bit more. My guy is dog aggressive and although he doesnt seem to care about choking himself out when he pulls, he is starting to get the point, no pull = breath easy.

I bought one of this leashes about 8 years ago. I use it regularly and it is so well made it still looks new. I have 2 new puppies and bought 2 more because of the quality and ease of use. Thanks for making the perfect leash for our dogs!

I got this to have a quick way to leash dogs when at shelters doing evaluations. While I wouldn't use a choke collar for everyday walks, it is handy in situations where the dog is shy or not leash trained and you need to get from point A to point B in a hurry. It seems well made and although it hasn't gotten a lot of use lately, so far, so good.

The leash is just the ticket! Especially useful when our hyperactive collie meets others of her ilk on the sidewalk. Problem solved! The dog loves it - arches her neck to receive the loop when we take her out.

We walk the dogs in off leash spaces and were having a hard time when it came time to leash them. This solves all the problems of trying to find the ring on the collar.

This is the perfect lead for training (e.g., Nosework) and for taking our puppy out in the backyard to eliminate in the dark. Both Monty and I feel secure with the lead, it's easy to slip on when I'm not fully awake and the reflective properties are not wasted in the winter night!

I was really dragging butt about getting a correctional leash for my husky because the conventional ones sold seemed so harsh. But he was dragging me everywhere, so I gave this one a try. It. Is. GREAT!! The rope is very gentle on the neck, and all the hardware and stitching is well done and holding together (a very big deal for a dog as strong as this one.) Lesser leashes have frayed and fallen apart within days of purchase...this one is holding up like a dream! After only a week of using it, walking the dog is more like a gentle outing and less like water skiing on land. =) Thanks!!

I use this more and more because of the ease of putting in on/off. It is very well designed and high quality materials are great against my dogs short hair.

We have a 3 month old vizsla puppy. Her name is Saylor. We are very active hikers and Saylor joins us often. All of our hikes deal with her having moments on and off the lead. Off the lead when we are isolated and on the lead when another hiker, biker, or horse passes by us. We were looking for a quick transition from off lead and on lead. Seems the colder it got the longer it would take us to snap other leads onto her collar. With this lead, after a couple sessions with baiting her into the lead with a treat, she walks right into the lead with no problem at all. I totally recommend this lead for any hiking family.

This is our second purchase or Just-a -cinch and canot imagine using anything else. Quick and simple and strong enough for 100lbs puppies.

LOVE this leash! I use it in rescue work all the time. When saving dogs from high kill shelters, the stray dogs typically never have collars on them. This leash is perfect for breaking them out of the shelter! Very rugged and durable. My leash has gotten out at least 200+ dogs from the shelter! Wouldn't rescue a dog without it!

This is the third set of leashes (three at a time!) that we have purchased. Our dogs are curious (shoot off in all directions!) and strong! While not always pulling, this leash allows us to communicate well, control and command with no worries of hardware failure. Easy on the hands/wrists of the walker (thank you!) and simple to use, I always carry an old one when I volunteer at the county shelter. The only wear we have found is at the ring where is slides on the main lead - but we do walk three times a day, every day!

Just bought 2 replacement sets. I use the leashes for taking the dogs on short moves - to the car and to the vet. They work great on the bigger dogs and give me enough control for some very strong dogs (especially when my boy pyr tries to give me a run - just to make me a little crazy). Easy to use and comfortable on the hands. Would definitely recommend.

I am a certified dog obedience trainer and a dog behaviorist. This is the only leash I use to walk multiple dogs and also to train leash walking. It is all that's neccessary

This leash is a must.............you must always have them. We have used them for years. The only thing we have ever found to distroy one is a very young puppy left to her own devises and ate the connecters off.

I love this leash! I don't have to worry about trying to keep my dog still or trying to find the D-ring on his collar to buckle his leash. This is especially great for the out doors, when all I need a leash for is walking him to the car and walking him from the car to the trail. And it's super quick and easy to slip on if I need to while walking on the trails. I use this leash at the dog park as well, for when some of the other dogs get a little too riled up or aggressive around my dog, and I need to leash him quickly to get him away. The silicone slider works wonders, stays in place, and ensures the slip leash wont undo itself when sitting loose on my dog's neck.

This is a great leash to keep in your car or in your pack and is especially handy in situations where you fear your dog might slip his collar. The silicone slider is way better than the old design- is easy to adjust and stays perfectly in place. Strong enough to keep my 90lb boy under control and safe when he realizes we aren't actually going to the park and instead are going to the vet :) As long as you put the leash on correctly (just like a slip collar- p is perfect, q is quit) the collar cinches when there is pressure/tension and releases when the tension is removed.
