LOVE IT
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
My chocolate Lab has a tender area on her pad that has lost its fur, hurts her when she walks on gravel or tiny rocks. Grip Tex boot has been amazing! Perfect fit, she seems very comfortable, little slippage or re-adjustment needed!! Handles tough dogs and tough terrain with ease!!

Great shoes
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
Theo never tears his feet up anymore, these shoes are the real deal. Every once in a while a boot will come off, but you can order single shoes to replace if lost. Oh and the ladies think the boots make him even more adorable, I must get a least a dozen comments every time we are hiking near people.

Love these shoes!
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
My boxer girl suffered a spine stroke and was dragging her back left leg. The shoe worked wonders - allowing her to learn to walk and run again without tearing up the top of her paw from dragging. I love these so much that I am going to buy another set for my male boxer to use on hot days when runing or hiking - they look sporty, are made well and are comfy. My girl never tried to take them off - get some socks too!

When Moki threw a shoe on the trail we were so happy to find out we could get a single bootie. Moki is tough but she needs her hiking boots on the trail because she is a tender foot.

Great Boots
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
After trying a couple of other types of boots that immediately twisted around his paws so that the sole ended up on top, we got these boots for our Golden. Max was picking up clumps of fox tails between his toes during his daily hikes at the American River. These boots have been great for protecting against this. He lost two boots, each on separate occasions, both times while he was romping in the river, so we had to buy another set. But they do stay on pretty well and he seems to be okay with wearing them. The cost of the set is an "ouch", but I rationalize that it is still cheaper than vet bills to treat abscesses caused by the foxtails.

I had to return and get a much larger size due to the sizeing chart not being totally realistic for every dog. But after getting the bigger size, they are working fine now.

I like the reflective strips because they look cool at night. I - the dogs have used them so much that I bought shoe goo to patch up the soles. One of them fell off of the back paw, so I replaced it. I figure it's better to invest in ruff wear than the veterinarian.

Great!
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
We take our dog into some pretty tough environments - backpacking & hiking on scree slopes, hiking along side rocky rivers, and the typically running/biking on hot summer pavement. She literally would not be able to come with us without these. and while she may look at us funny when we first put them on her, two minutes later she is running around like they're not even there. Only drawback is you have to watch out for the velcro - if it gets wet/dirty it wont stick as well and you can lose a boot pretty fast (the dog certainly won't slow down to tell you it fell off). So make sure they're good and clean when you put them on & take off on your next adventure.

Excellent
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
We usually walk our two poodles about 4 miles/day on the bike paths in our neighborhood. The ashpalt gets really hot and it's rough. Prior to using the boots, their pads would rub raw and sometimes bleed. They also run around our pool and wear down their pads, so the boots have been a god send.

These are the only boots that stay on my dog's feet. She does try to kick them off and occationaly on the back she is successful. They are good for hiking and excellent for playing in the snow.

well designed
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
Jack is a 9-yr old GSD (about 100 lbs) who drags his hind feet a little when walking. He likes walks but 2-3 miles a day on mostly paved country roads wear down the middle nails on his hind feet until it becomes painful for him. These boots have been an excellent solution. After about a month of use, the tread on the soles is starting to wear a little, but there's a lot of miles left in them. I have had very little problems with them coming off; it only happens when Jack cuts in front of me and I step on his heels.

Durable and comfortable
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
I got these not so much to keep his feet warm but to protect his pads from broken glass hidden in the snow. Take the time to measure all the feet since you will most likely find that fronts are larger than backs. That way you can buy two different sizes from the get go. At first he wasn’t too fond of them, but with a lot of cookie therapy and making sure we left as soon as they were on he now associates them with fun and the tall starts up as soon as he sees them. You will have to experiment with how tight they are since just a little tighter can make the difference between running and not loosing them and running and swearing he’s is trying to loose them on purpose. When we first used them they were coming off as soon as he stepped out the door. After he got accustomed to them and I found the appropriate tightness for the Velcro strap they are very stable and will stay on even when he’s running on rough surfaces.

OK
Would you recommend this product?.: No
I purchsed these boots to help protect my dogs back paws from bleeding as he is recovering from back surgery. I measured his feet and ordered the correct boot size accordingly. These boots come off all the time. They do not velcro high enough up to keep on with constant dragging or stepping in rugged terrain. Boots come off WAY to easy, and I am always searching for them. Probably good only if your dog is not dragging feet too much and walks on flat surfaces. Gret idea, poor execution.

My dog has big paws but thin legs. I had to get the XL boots and every time I have put them on him I have had to search for missing boots. I lost one the first time he wore them so I bought another one. The next time we went out he lost that again. I found the first one he lost so I was back to four. Tried them again and lost another boot. I am seeing a trend here.

I realy like the boots the only things is Boxer looses them when he starts running. According to your mesurment I should have the right size boots. Med in front and small in the back. Perhaps the velcro need to go around more so the boots can be tighter.

Best booties ever
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
These are by far the best booties I have found. I had a problem with them pressing against his dew claw causing the skin under to be rubbed raw, but found a solution. Just get the ruff wear liners and and fold them over so they sit up between the dew claw and the skin and no more rubbed raw. I've never had these fall off or roll over like other booties and I think those who have this problem need to try another size. On my dog his rear paws are smaller than front so I think buying singles is the way to go.

Good
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
We bought these boots because our dog's paws would occasionally bleed when playing on snow and ice. They do not work well in deep snow, as snow will pack around the top of the boot. However, they are not advertised as being recommended in deep snow. They are very well made. If they are put on reasonably tight, they stay on. We lost one in some deep brush, when it probably became caught. However, it was possible to purchase a single boot replacement. Overall, we are happy with these boots.

Great Boots...except they keep falling off.
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
These boots are great at keeping the snow and ice from building up in between our dogs pads. However, almost every time we use them one of the boots from his back legs will fall off. I've had to hunt for the missing boots many times. They should come up with a product which attach the boots to the dog's legs with a string or something.

These are absolutely a necessity up where I live. Playing or walking outside in the winter requires some sort of boot for my dog and these are just perfect. It's too cold for her to be outside for long without the protection offered by these boots. She loves to play hard; quick starts and stops. The large tended to either come off or rotate so the bottom was on the top, so the sizing is very important, so make sure you get the correct size. But I've found nothing better.

Sun, rain or snow...these boots are great! Running through the brush and such at the dog park is now worry free (stickers, mud, broken glass or sharp rocks...no longer a concern)...also keeps our car clean when boots come off before heading home.....throw them in the washer and let air dry...good as new. Since our dogs' front paws are larger than their back paws, it is nice to be able to purchase single boots rather than 4 of the same. Really...the ONLY negative is that the rear boots tend to spin a bit. Front seem to be more secure. The velcro does tend to take on alot of snow in the winter, but so far, have not lost a boot.

Love the product, but my dog had a different feeling about them until he got to use them in the snow and now he has changed his mind. The only bad thing is that neither the small or x-small do not fit his back feet very well so they fall off easly, but the front ones are great!
