I was so excited to see that this harness was light weight, which made for comfortable straps for my pup. But the stitching was not strong, and came out within a week of use making the harness unsafe and flimsy. Sadly, I am returning it. It's a great idea but it needs to be better made to ensure the safety of a strong dog. Probably good for a dog that never pulls while on leash.

Really Nice
Would you recommend this product?.: No
I bought two of these harnesses for my two shiba inus. I had a harder time with other harnesses since they were always thick and bulky. It was hard trying to put on a bulky harness on to a dog that basically lays down when you try to put a harness on it. Since this harness was not bulky at all, it was so much easier to manuever around the dog. I also had problems with other harnesses since one of my Shibas is pretty scared of people. He actually slipped right out of other harnesses even though I had tightened them. In this one, he couldn't get out. What a relief!

Great
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
I wanted something that i could just throw on my small dog for a walk and this is it! It is super light and super comfy. The only bad thing is if you have a dog that walks in front of you and pulls then it stays right on. My dog is trained to walk on my side so the top tends to slide around alot. I would tighten it up more but i didnt want to rub. I guess training has it's drawbacks sometimes :)

Works as advertized

Wish it came with a bit more adjustability. Its hard to fit on my doxies barrel chest, but works great for running, use a lightweight leash buckle on smaller dogs as this one allows the buckle to slap the spine.

Hmm? Not sure.
Would you recommend this product?.: No
This harness was a bit lighter than I was expecting. It was not made as well as I expected. The product had features (ie. the front pad) to make it more comfortable. However, these were cheap and poorly executed. It ended up rubbing our dog the wrong way and cuased irritation. The only way it worked was to adjust it to fit absolutely perfectly. It works now but it took awhile.

My canine companion(s): GSD/lab mix, lab/hound mix
Just what we were looking for
Would you recommend this product?.: No
We bought this harness for our GSD/lab mix Sadie, and we like it so much we're ordering another one for our newly-adopted puppy Izzy. Most harnesses are heavy, stiff, and restrictive, and we wanted something light and comfortable, which this is. The mid-body leash attachment point makes it easy to direct the dog on a walk, and allows her to sniff as she goes. When she is off-lead, the back strap provides a nice non-stressful control "handle", which as been great as we're introducing her to our new puppy. And the harness seems to have an overall calming effect, distributing any pressure over the dog's shoulders. With respect to the comments made by the previous reviewer, no harness is a substitute for a well-trained dog. The only negative: the chest strap loosens on its own, making periodic readjustments necessary.
