THe neck on this was WAY too small for my small lab I returned it the next day due to that. I was surprised by that defect.

As all RuffWear products, this jacket works excellent. The hood actually covers her head and it really does keep her dry. A great feature of the jacket is that the hood can be folded and tucked away. The size fits Murphy perfect. Its great for walks when raining and perfect for those rainy days when camping. A wet dog in your tent is a smelly dog unless you have the Sun Shower.

This is an absolute must for anyone living in the rainy Pacific Northwest who wants to keep their dog dry. My dog will go out when it's pouring and she comes back dry everywhere but her legs. Her paws stay nice and dry thanks to Polar Trex boots. I couldn't have asked for a better coat! I love the hood and am sorry to see that the replacement coat for this item doesn't have one.

This is a beautiful raincoat - great quality and craftsmanship. My problem is that I bought big (as the sizing recommends to for longer dogs) for my German Shepherd and the coat is way to short for his body. His entire hind quarter is exposed and the girth straps are as short as they will go. If you have a long dog, you may want to call before ordering to make sure it will be long enough.

i show old english and it is so hard to find a good raincoat. the heat taped seams are a must and the quality is that of my Gill and Helly Hanson foul weather gear. I do think the hood could be a bit larger if I could change anything on it. I love the fact that these are not lined with fleece since cozy warm is not what we need. My problem is there are no more XL available anywhere. Why Why Why are you discontinuing this wonderful rain coat? Please bring back a replacement.

I love love love this coat. The hood even stays up. It does run a bit small so order up.

This is my 4th ruffwear rain coat. I like the green because it is super visible in low light/down pours. I have taken my dogs out in these for 40+ minutes in absolute downpours-they stayed dryer than me.

These coats are really nice. They fit well and the dogs do not mind wearing them. They are not too noisy when they walk and they don't smell bad. Our smallest needs size small and the others need size medium. I would highly recommend it. I like the color but it would be nice to have color choices.

My quibble is the color -- if you take your dog hiking, particularly during hunting season, the must-wear color is flame orange. Green raincoat on a black dog makes him look like a bear in the brush. I wish orange was an option.
