We love this toy! Its so fun to play with when we play in the pool at the day care. We got the rope off pretty fast, but they just put a new one on for us. We all play tug of war with it and we couldnt even kill it.

the best toy I've ever bought!

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

My dog LOVES the lunker, it's by far her favorite! As for me, its easy to throw and easy to spot in the yard. She likes to puncture toys with her teeth- so far no holes yet. I would definitely recommend this toy to any large breed dog.

Good

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

Very tuggable. The ropes come off pretty quickly but I just replaced with my own. The only real problem I have had is that the most aggressive tuggers on our team have managed to puncture the fabric with teeth while tugging. Then it's confetti land and the stuffing is everywhere. I bought all 3 sizes to see what would work best and the medium is the one for us. It's my Mal's toy of choice because of it's size and softer texture.

Fun and Tough but full of stink!

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

My dogs love this toy. Only the Malinois gets to play with it because the APBTs are way too hard on toys for it to last more than a few tosses with them. Its perfect for a Malinois and she LOVES it! 3 human complaints. 1) The rope on the large lunker is too long. My dog likes to shake it a lot and the rope knot kept smacking her right in the eyes so I shortened the rope to about 3 inches. 2) The knots came undone after the first few tosses and the rope detached itself. I had to retie it, cut it re-knot and re-weld the knot. 3) After the first week of use and religious sun/ air drying, this thing stinks to high heaven of mildew/ mold. Its bad. I just threw it in the wash with some Dr. Bronnner's and vinegar but who knows if it will improve. PeeeEEW.

This is great for swimmers! A nice long rope and a very boyant core makes it the perfect toy for a non-stop swimmer.

My lab loves to play with this toy more than his tennis ball. It is great for retrieving in the water.

Great retrievel toy.

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

Both of my dogs enjoy fetching it and has held up for over a year. Mine is strictly for outside use and for fetching. No tug of war or chewing for fun. When I pull out the lunker the boys know what time it is and they love it.

Perfect water toy!

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

The lunker is solid and is holding up very well! Odie loves to mouth everything, and it is still ticking! We are smart enough to keep an eye on him and not let him rip and tear though. He loves it in the water and it is much safer than a stick. We found that out the hard way after paying over 1000 bucks to remove slivers from his throat. Bottom line if you have a water dog, or any fetch loving dog, this toy rocks!

not lab safe if lab is left alone with it :)

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

My boy is a Chewbucka... the rope, the black binding, and the stuffing were not impervious to my sweet angel. He loves to chew and destroy. It would work if your labrador was not so "silly" - or simply make sure you hide it and only play when you have Mummy and Pupplet time or Daddy and Pupplet time. :) If you have supervised dog time it will last for a season of fun!

I have been training my work dog with the medium tug for almost a year and it has held up to alot of abuse. still in good shape. i dont let him sit and chew on it (nothing can withstand that). lots of tugging and throwing. its hard to find anything as tough.

My lab moose chewed through half a dozen of the remington canvas bumpers, the sand dumps out every where and he chews the brass rings off. Ive had the lunker for 2 years now, the rope is still intact and just now the top is starting to tear. Its seen hunderds of hours of play time.

My Malinois has bit thru five of the Remington retrieval dummies and the sand drains out. This dog has a hard mouth and this dummy is perfect for her retrieving drills. It would be nice if they were offered without the rope.

Great for tug, not chewing, confetti filled!

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

As a pure tug toy, it worked well. Soft so the dog and get a solid grip with out slipping or the need to re-bite. Good rope to grasp and keep your distance or to tie to your pack or belt while walking/working. The problem, like most toys is when you let your dog sit and chew on it. His puppy-toy-destruction skills meant this toy didn't stand a chance. He was able to pull the seams apart and the rope got shreaded quickly. One other note, once he opened up the body of the toy, we were suprised to see that it was filled with small approx 1" pieces of cloth material. I'm assuming they recycle the scrap pieces from all the items they make(a good thing) but be forwarned, it is one giagantic mess when it breaks open! My only suggestion to them would be maybe stuff it with a rag or larger scraps so when it does break/rip open it won't look like a pinata party at your house! Again, if you use it for tug only, and restrict it's use to supervised sessions, it is great and fairly durable.

fun, but lacks durability

Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!

My dog practically destroyed this in an afternoon. The rope handle was quickly severed and the black binding at the top was easily ripped away. There are even holes in the fabric of the toy itself. We don't play with it much anymore because there's not much left to it. I unfortunately got the "special edition" version of the fern green in the medium size several months ago, so now it cannot be replaced....
