fun, but lacks durability
My dog practically destroyed this in an afternoon. The rope handle was quickly severed and the black binding at the top was easily ripped away. There are even holes in the fabric of the toy itself. We don't play with it much anymore because there's not much left to it. I unfortunately got the "special edition" version of the fern green in the medium size several months ago, so now it cannot be replaced..../////Yes

Great for tug, not chewing, confetti filled!
As a pure tug toy, it worked well. Soft so the dog and get a solid grip with out slipping or the need to re-bite. Good rope to grasp and keep your distance or to tie to your pack or belt while walking/working. The problem, like most toys is when you let your dog sit and chew on it. His puppy-toy-destruction skills meant this toy didn't stand a chance. He was able to pull the seams apart and the rope got shreaded quickly. One other note, once he opened up the body of the toy, we were suprised to see that it was filled with small approx 1" pieces of cloth material. I'm assuming they recycle the scrap pieces from all the items they make(a good thing) but be forwarned, it is one giagantic mess when it breaks open! My only suggestion to them would be maybe stuff it with a rag or larger scraps so when it does break/rip open it won't look like a pinata party at your house! Again, if you use it for tug only, and restrict it's use to supervised sessions, it is great and fairly durable. /////Yes

Excellent
My Malinois has bit thru five of the Remington retrieval dummies and the sand drains out. This dog has a hard mouth and this dummy is perfect for her retrieving drills. It would be nice if they were offered without the rope./////Definitely

Great
My lab moose chewed through half a dozen of the remington canvas bumpers, the sand dumps out every where and he chews the brass rings off. Ive had the lunker for 2 years now, the rope is still intact and just now the top is starting to tear. Its seen hunderds of hours of play time./////Yes

not lab safe if lab is left alone with it :)
My boy is a Chewbucka... the rope, the black binding, and the stuffing were not impervious to my sweet angel. He loves to chew and destroy. It would work if your labrador was not so "silly" - or simply make sure you hide it and only play when you have Mummy and Pupplet time or Daddy and Pupplet time. :) If you have supervised dog time it will last for a season of fun!/////yes

good...but...
I have had 5 of the Lunker. I use it for a throw/catch toy. The stitching always comes apart around the bottom part. She does not chew or play with it, just for toss and catch. I don`t know if I will buy another one, this one (#5) we have only used for 2 weeks and the stitching is already apart. It is made well, but the thread is not very durable. It is a $20.00 that really doesn`t stand up to my expectations./////yes
