Dog is so small, can't use regular collar so need to use a harness for walks. There's no opening in the coat for the harness latch.

This is the perfect dusk/night safety piece for the kids when we are out for a stroll. High visibility, able to clip on the Beacon, and so light they don't notice it. Very happy!

Our Airedale tends to run away occasionally. I love the bright color. I can spot her! It is very lightweight. Not good for cold weather, but wonderful for moderate temperatures.

I got this as a gift for my mother-in-law and her black lab Holly. She said she absolutely loves it and she feels much safer walking at night! Also it is completely adjustable and fits Holly's large size with no problem.

Wallace doesn't look much like a Berner or a Golden-he's solid black and blends in with tree trunks and pavement alike. It gets dark early up here, too. This jacket is perfect for visibility, and he doesn't mind wearing it at all. He doesn't get hot wearing it, either, which is great. He wears a large, adjusted pretty snugly because I anticipate him getting bigger across his chest still (he's almost 18 months and about 80 pounds). We live in an area of winding roads with no sidewalks and no lighting. Visibility is essential for evening walks. These jackets are perfect. They are so easy to adjust to fit, so quick to put on and remove. And they are very effective, especially with the addition of the beacon. (We bipeds also wear reflective gear.) Driver's comments so far have been, "Love your dog-walking outfits, amazing," and "Wow, I can see you guys, awesome."

Brilliant product! I bought a large one for my 90lb boy and one in medium to use for a friend's 45/50lb dog, primarily for mountain biking during hunting season and running in the evening. The jackets are bright, water-repellent, durable, and fit well. The size difference between the medium & large is substantial, but they're highly adjustable. Stan hates jackets, but forgets about the track jacket quickly; maybe it's good that the large is on the small side, so it doesn't cover him as much? Whatever...it's still extremely visable! I'm psyched about this purchase. (Just don't think that the "beacon" light will stay attached to it if you don't use more than the clip to attach it!)

I use this vest for high visibility while hunting. On really cold days I layer it over her fleece coat (also from Ruffwear!). Snappy does not seem to be bothered by either. The buckles are in perfect places as well.

Bought the blaze orange version for Moxie to wear when we hike in hunting season. Moxie also wears a Ruffwear Approach pack in Lichens green. I am able to attach the Track jacket over the pack to ensure highest visablity.

Perfect for hunting season! Easy to get on and off and my girl doesn't seem to mind it. My dog is a 50 lb pit/hound mix and the medium fits perfectly. I'm glad I forked up the dough and got this vest instead of a less expensive one. Well worth the money!

The orange jacket fits perfectly and allows me to easily keep track of Cody. He seems to like it and comes to me, sits and raises his head so I can put it on. Cody seems to like it.

I love this jacket. My black lab runs about 18 miles a week with me, and now that we have turned teh clocks back, it is dark when we run. He wears his track jacket with a clip on light, and he is easy to spot from quite a distance. It fits great and doesn't slip/slide around on him, or affect his running in any way. This jacket fits right and is highly visible. My std. Schnauzer blends in with the evening and this jacket makes him a moving light. I had one several years ago that had a mind of its own and wouldn't stay on straight. This one is great.

The orange vest is great when I take my dog out on evening runs. We run many miles and the vest doesn't bother him at all. I'm much more comfortable knowing my dog is not blending into the night sky and he is visible to traffic. It goes great with his ruffwear leash.

It's very easy to put on and take off the color is great and so is the quality. My girl loves it when I take it out. We just came from VT, prime hunting time, many hunters around and felt she was safe wearing her new Track Jacket.

The Track Jacket is bright, sturdy, and very well made. It took me a second to make sure the fit was right but once done it stayed in place as Gracie ran through woods and brush. And since I'm writing this during deer season, I felt much more comfortable about letting her run free on our property. I will recommend this product to friends and will look at more Ruffwear products.

This makes my leaf colored dog visible in the fall. I added the beacon light to it to make him visible at night. He's tough on it- he snaggs it on branches and rolls in it. It does occasionally slide to one side, but the buckle and elastic strap hold it on him.

The orange track jackets are exactly what I wanted to keep the pups safe in the back country during all the hunting seasons. Bright, fit well and the dogs get excited about wearing them :)

We bought this for both our dogs for the fall and spring, so we can hike safely with him during hunting season here in CO. The coats fit perfectly on both dogs (we bought mediums for both- one is 40lbs, the other is 65lbs). The track jacket is high-quality and the stitching is very sturdy. We bought the orange to stick out in the heavy tree cover and snow, and man does the color stick out! It's definitely not a color you'd miss. It's nice and bright without being obnoxious. Both dogs seem comfortable with them on, and we haven't had any issues. Easy to adjust, easy to take on and off, etc. Would definitely buy these again, but knowing RuffWear's quality, we won't have to.

Love the durability of the fabric - holds up great to mud, brambles and even blood washed off well (my dog cut her tongue and it bled like crazy!). I bought the light to attach to the back and even in deep twilight in the woods she is very visible. Very impressed with the overall construction, fit and durability of this jacket!

I bought a large as well as a small size for our dogs. The material is excellent however, the design of the straps allows the product to slip off the back and onto the side of the dogs. A better strap design is needed.

I'm a gear snob. My dog is not. However, he does appreciate when a piece of dog gear just plain works, which is the case with the Track Jacket. I got it for visibility in the woods, and the orange is super bright--perfect for trail running during hunting season. The straps secure in just the right places and the design ensures nothing dangles. It's also designed to breathe well, with mesh underneath and small foam sections that create space between the mesh and the top later. Only room for improvement: A pouch for my key and ID would be great to have.

Best vest ever!!! I love that is lined, made from high quality materials and has an exceptional fit. The little stretchy part on the belly is my favorite feature and really helps set this product above the rest.

I ordered this mostly for when I take my dog for night walks around our neighborhood--perfect for that use. Highly visible, easy to put on and not warm/heavy which is perfect for hot summer nights. Hazel wears the green jacket and I'm very pleased with it. A medium fit her (she's a 60 lb shepherd mix with a deep chest and narrow waist).

Talk about bright! When I opened the package I noticed immediately how bright this jacket was! The mesh is really durabel and helps my dog's coat breath better underneath. It fits great, and it's certainly visible from a great distance! My dog doesn't seem to mind wear it at all, and it doesn't chafe or rub his skin.

I got this for my GS as when off-leash he sometimes takes off after deer or to say hello to another dog as he is very friendly. I thought with this on I could at least see him through the thick trees when on a hike. I got the Orange color and am so very happy I did. Now I and everyone can easily see him and it gives us such relief and peace of mind. The only thing was when he went in water part of the reflective tape is coming off. I guess this jacket isn't meant for water. Though every other part of the jacket is holding up very well. I would highly recommend this product in orange.

I have both dogs in the orange vests as we wander the logging roads for hours at a time and it is important that they are very visible both for myself and others. Shady area? In deep tree cover? No problem! I can always see my dogs. Not only are these high visibility, they are easy to adjust and I have had to do so without removing them from the dog.. We do a lot of offroading and go through lots of very brushy areas and have never had a problem with the dogs hanging up on anything or the vest being damaged. They are so easy to remove before putting the dogs back in the car even though I am holding both leashes at once. These are a must have item, especially during hunting season!

This high visibility orange is just the ticket for our even walks in town and our forays through the woods and backcountry. I paired this jacket with the Beacon. My black Lab-mix can't become invisible at night, even if she wanted to!

I've purchased a number of items from Ruffwear over the years and have yet to be disappointed. This jacket is well made and fits my dog well. The green and reflective materials make it easy to see her at night. Adding the light to it makes her even easier to find when we're out walking on-lease after dark. My only suggestion would be to add even more reflective material to the jacket.

I have an 85lb pointer mix, who is mostly black. I purchased a large orange jacket for our early morning runs so he is visible to traffic. The jacket has been great; he doesn't mind it at all and he looks fabulous.

The orange is extremely easy to see. The green blends in too well with the snow, shadows, and most objects. It lacks the 80's neon of the orange. The only way to improve the orange would be to have the same cut as the overcoat jacket. This would give the added benefit of more coloring on the chest of the dog. I also prefer the buckle system of the overcoat/quinzee coats.

My dogs like to run with me, and weekdays that either means before or after work. A good part of the year, that means in total darkness. The vest, with the attached red light, makes us all more visible. Initially, they did not want to put the vests on, but they now associate them with getting out - and can't wait to wear them.

Because of the fact that my dog is red coated he is not very visible in the forest/woods during fall/winter time here in North Cal. I've purchased the Orange Blaze color and I wasn't sure at first if it will work, or if maybe the Fern Green was better. However, I've received the jacket and I like it a lot. I'm very pleased (as always) with the quality and the fit. Also a good feature of the jacket is the loop where you can attach the light to it and it will never slide to the side because it sits on the top of the jacket.

This is the greatest thing ever! We have used it almost daily since it arrived. Hiking during hunting season, night time walks, and just plain increasing visibility! I also got the beacon and attached it to the jacket. Finally, Ansel is visible in the woods. The material is super durable and I love that the clips don't rub against him. My girls have been wearing their blaze orange vests for about 4-5 years now. I have the older style and it has worn well, despite getting caught on barbed wire and wo-knows-what- the ripstop nylon works. Side benefit is that my cairn is the color of forest duff and now I can see her from a distance. Got the vests for hunting season because one dog looks like a squirrel and the other looks like a deer. These are very well made, have lasted forever.

I purchased the vest for hiking during hunting season but found that I have the extra benefit in training! My rescue has some issues with greeting other dogs. With this vest, I no longer need to tell people that my dog is in training, the see the vest and just assume. It has enabled me to train him better.

Have had one of these for two years now. Have been buying orange vests for hiking during huntings season for 30 years now. all others have fallen apart after one season. That's if the dog's don't lose them in the woods with the velcro ripping loose. This one is unbelievably superior to all others. Tried 6 or 7 brands now. The one that is two years old looks like brand new. Buckles stay secure. Dog is comfy. Am about to order another one.

Bright 'don't shoot me!' orange color for hunting season safety combined with phenomenal 'don't hit me!' reflectors for the dark season bundled together in a great fit. Awesome product. I can't recommend it enough and do so often.

Bought this for our GSD so that we could take her hiking in the mountains during hunting season without worrying. Works great! Well built, fits her well and she doesn't mind having it on! We attached an LED strobe light for when we stay out past dark, and along with the reflective striping she is super visible!

Don't let my black shepherd go into the woods this time of year without it. I have attached the Blackburn Flea tail light to the Ruffwear Loop for added visibility at dusk & dark. Whether on an urban ride or trail blazing I'm comfortable the dog won't be shot or hit by conscious people...So now I only have to watch out for the less than conscious idiots! Everydog should wear a track jacket during the hunting month's period!

I got this initially for our early morning winter runs, since it's so dark out and even though I'm lit up like a christmas tree, some people still don't see me on the road. This worked to great, I now use it for our off the leash evening walks too. My dog is really dark and disappears in the dark, even with a torch but with this on, she's easy to spot. I was initially worried that it might bug her, since she doesn't like coats but not with this.

I have a big furry black Newfoundland service dog, Orka. Ppl are continuously screaming "Bear!" Some black bear were caught nearby. So I bought the bright orange Ruffwear Track Jacket and Beacon as Orka's "I am not a bear" indicators. Indispensable. Use it for all outdoor walks now unless he is wearing his drafting / skijoring / backpack / service / life jacket / vests etc. Put the Beacon on everything. The Track Jacket is short on long lean Newf but the visibility is excellent. Orka also swims across rivers with it on and it is holding up well.

Each of our 2 Seppalas wear these whenever they are not carrying their pack. Hunters don't mistake them for wolves/coyotes; seeing the vests puts people at ease when we meet up with them on the trail; the vests help me spot our dogs when wandering around (they wander a little farther than most breeds) while out in the woods. They're secure, comfortable, and don't twist around!

This jacket was ordered for a customer of ours and he was thrilled at the finished product. We embroidered the dog's name and rank (former military dog) on both sides of the jacket and he was taken aback at the quality of both the jacket and embroidery.

Too bad this jacket does not have a secondary velcro closure on the front, under the neck. Sure wish it had much more reflective material. The crying shame is...the bright color fades dramaticly after 90 days in the sun.

I have owned this jacket for awhile. It has a lot of great things going for it. Easy to clean, highly visible...I am finding that it sits sideways on my dog alot. I think a better design would be like the canine overcoat (which is our favorite jacket) that clicks on both sides underneath. I have tried making it tighter and looser but he seems to always wear it sideways. If anyone has any suggestions to make it wear "straight" I am open. I love ruffwear products and if they made a track jacket with the new design I would definitely buy one.

Coats are highly visible and fit well. They are sturdy. Clips make it easy, quick to put on. Dogs do not seem to mind wearing coat. Customer service was very responsive. Thanks for your support as I bought a coat for each dog I own. They now will not go out without wearing their coats. We have about a mile of woods out there and I have their names and phone numbers written on the back of the coats. Thanks to all at Ruff Wear.

Our dogs go everywhere with us so we have almost all of the Ruff Wear jackets and love them all. I was very pleased when I saw this one added to the choices because it will be a great wind breaker when my dogs need a little something on to break the Wyoming wind and since they are white dogs, these jackets will help keep them clean without the bulk of other jackets.

Given my dog is yellow/golden in color, I can see her much better in the weeds.

I have 2 SAR dogs and we wanted a jacket that was orange and we could use for our PR and Demo events. This is an excellent product and really makes the dogs "POP".

We live on a farm and Conner helps me with the big animals at night. It is great to be able to know where he is at all times- It is light- he can wear it winter or summer and the little reflective bead is surprisingly bright in the headlights.

Awesome product! Great reflection from the beading and good bright orange color. Also great with the Beacon. Good design insight with the elastic webbing. Allows the Track Jacket to stay in place whether my dog is racing full speed or rolling in the snow. Just snug it up and there it stays.

We are testing these out to use as vests for my teams search dogs. We've made some slight alterations to hold a light stick. Can't beat the price!

I bought the Track Jacket for Max because we are out exploring all year round, in all kinds of weather and we love it! It's the only one I've seen that doesn't attach to his collar which means it doesn't rotate to one side of his body. The reflective material is awesome at night and the orange is perfect for visibility during hunting season. The two layers of material are light-weight but it might be a little too warm for him on a warm fall day.

The safety orange and reflective roping are visible during low light conditions. Jacket holds it's position during long runs. Tough stuff.

I bring my dog to work with me to do wilderness therapy. We operate year round and come fall I get nervous having her out there during hunting season. This jacket gave me the comfort and assurance I needed to bring her along!

We use this jacket on our dog when we go on hikes during hunting season at our local state park. It stays on him well and doesn't slide around too much. Very bright and reflective. Have not tried it with a light on it.

We got this mostly as a safety measure for hiking during hunting season, but it's also great for keeping track of him in low-light situations. He's gone wading in it, crashed through brush, barrelled through the snow...fairly rough usage, and it certainly holds up. It does slide a bit sideways on him, but that may be a size/adjustment issue (he's short, but has a long torso and a barrel chest)

The track jacket is fantastic! I bought it for Willie, my lab/pit mix. He loves to go hiking and is a complete gear dog. In the woods, it enhances his visibility even in heavy under brush. With the days getting shorter I added a beacon to it and put it on him when we go to the local parks. I can keep track of him, and as important, other people in the park can see him so there is no opportunity to be startled. One other thing: I believe that if I should ever lose him in the woods, any one that found him would immediately realize that he is a cared for dog based on the fact that he has a reflective jacket on. My hope would be that the finder would make an extra effort to locate me. Ella will be getting a jacket next....

I always worry when hiking in the fall as bow and gun season begin and my Weimie Max is fawn colored like a deer. This caution orange jacket gives me great piece of mind when hiking as he is safer and visible.

This jacket is amazing, for trail running with my girl. I am much less concerned about her during hunting season. Decent fit (a large), she likes it-- maybe because she associates it with roaming in the mountains.

The track jacket makes my short legged pouch a lot more visible on our evening walks thru the dimly lit neighborhood streets.

Bought 2 new Track Jackets to replace an old yellow one that Meadow chewed up as a puppy. Definitely prefer the Blaze orange, and the stretch on the strap is a fit improvement. Meadow is the color of dry grass and Zulu is black, so the bright orange is a must on our rural road, especially at dusk. Only gripe is they are a bit short to provide full rain protection, but I know that whippets are unusually proportioned

I purchased the track jacket as a "anti hunter vest". My white butt dog prances around and I imagine could look like a deer... so with the vest on, Im much more lenient in his roaming. Its very bright, and the large fits my 72lb pup great, plenty of room to fill out.

We like this coat to keep our dog visable in the field, he is a liver roan color and blends in with the brush. The only thing I would recommend is a stomach shield for working dogs running in the brush, going through fences, etc. Overall am happy with this coat--just needs more protection for serious bird dogs. Gives good visability and has reflective stripes. I use it for running in the dark. Good fit also-Shorthairs are hard to fit with their large breast and small withers.

I received this jacket as a gift for Christmas and absolutely love it. It fits well and stays in place on my very active dogs.

I also wish that it had more reflectivity on the jacket, but over all it one of the best High vis vests out there.

I love this jacket, my sharpei is black, and once it's dark, forget about seeing him, but this jacket helps him stand out, and great for walks in state game lands, where people could mistake him for a little bear cub!!

Vest fits well and keeps her visual in low light conditions. We hike with her a lot and it helps us keep track of her when she wanders. It's also fairly water resistant for those rainy days we have to take her outside. I do wish there was more reflective piping.

I got the large for my two (28kg and 33kg). They don't sit straight on them (keep on sliding around). I'm trying different adjustments, but haven't figured it out yet. Good in low light. Like the refectability of the lifejackets better!

we love this track jacket, esp. during bubba's hunting season. with the chi-jack running in the woods, it's not easy to see her, but with the track jacket, she's very visible; altho it is difficult for her to rollover and scratch her back with the beacon attached :p -- she speeds thru trails with no difficulty keepin' up with the big guys! only prob i have with it is the flaps in front keep flipping under, but no matter, it stays in place and looks awesome! the other two also keep on flying around with them on, beacons attached, my two and a "half" dogs look like fireflies running in the fields! i love it, and i know where they are when we run at night!

I bought two track jackets for my dogs who like running in the woods after other animals and both of them are black and brown. the orange helps find them and keeps them safe from hunters.

Josie hikes and cross-country skis with me in the mountains. Being mostly white, it is very difficult to see her in a snowy background. The track jacket has changed that, and I can easily see her anywhere. Jacket holds up well in the heavy brush she races through on the scent of a bird. Jacket is easily adjustable and stays on my very active dog. Excellent product.

I like the jacket, however I recieved one for a gift that was lighted. It had stripes of led lights down the sides that could be left on or flash. That was the best jacket ever !!! I sure do miss the lighted feature.

I bring my dog, Jasper, along when I mountain bike in the woods w/RI NEMBA. The track jacket has great visibility and stayed in place--Jasper ran just over 10 miles (in the snow) with a group of us riding today and the jacket did not hinder him in the least.

I got this for my mostly black German Shepherd Marley in November 2008. We've used it on nearly all walks since then because I usually walk her at night. People drive crazy fast in my neighborhood so I had to do something to make her more visible. After weeks of searching, I found the Track Jacket (TJ). We also have the Beacon light and I love the clip for it on the back. TJ fits great, is easily adjustable and stays on like a charm. Marley doesn't even notice it, except when she sees it and wants to go for a walk. The only thing I'd change on TJ is to have more of the reflective piping. If you go for walks in the dark, TJ is a must have!!!

Great for visibility. Would love to see a coat version for dogs in colder climates. I wish you would make a longer version of vests and coats for dogs who are not broad chested but may have long bodies.

I could only order a medium and it is not big enough for my Lab. Otherwise I think it would have been ideal. We live in the woods and need the orange to protect Gus from the hunters. Can't really rate as it does not fit.
