A great alternative to a collar, this harness allows better distribution of pulling force.
Originally designed for search-and-rescue organizations, the Web Master lets you assist your dog up and down in a variety of situations, and can also be used during rehabilitation.
A generous ergonomic cut allows for a full range of motion, while still providing security that even the best "Houdini dog" can't escape.

Very well made and fits him great. It allows me to be able to offer total body control and even lift him over objects while on hikes. A great purchase.

This WebMaster Harness probably saved my Dachshund's life. He had gotten out of every harness we bought. In a big city this is very dangerous. He can not get out of this harness no matter how hard he pulls. It has made me relax on our walks. We have had the harness about 2 months how and I can not state how wonderful this product is.

My 10-1/2 y/o dog has Wobbler's Syndrome and has a difficult time getting up, going down stairs, and making turns. I don't know what we would do without this harness. I am able to assist him when he needs it. I know that I shouldn't, but we use it in his Hydrotherapy also to help keep him balanced. I would be unable to help him, and I don't know what I would do without this product.

My webmaster harness is used for a service dog.
The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star rating is due to the lack of a chest ring for a lead. I like to use both back and chest rings for different purposes.
Would also like to be able to get a pallisades harness without the pack because the attaching points are perfect for a service dog's bridge and harness handle.

Outstanding
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
I have an older female GSD and decided to give the harness a try. My intuition paid off as I had only had the harness for a week when Hallie was suddenly striken with Canine Vestibular Syndrome. That was almost one year ago and the harness is still in daily use although not as critical as day one. It is of excellent quality and very durable.
Some reviewers have commented on the straps becoming loose. Yes they do. It is a simple matter of a single tug and they are once again secure. My dog wears the harness 24x7 and I perfer that the straps become a little loose as she is not made uncomfortable by too tight straps when she sleeps. The straps are made so the do not come loose when lifting a 100 pound dog. More of a benefit to me than a drawback.

I got this harness about 3 years ago when my 13 year old terrier lost her sight and no longer wanted to be pulled by the collar.
It also allowed for easy, safe pick up when she needed to be moved.
Some of the reflective material has come off over the years and after many washings as she wore it daily.
It is now retired as Rascal has crossed the rainbow bridge; however, the harness is certainly still usable.
Thank you

Best there is!
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
I have tried tons of different collars and harness't for my Bedlington Terrier and there have always been something that I did not like with them. My demands are rather high but this harness satisfied all of them.
It will not hurt my dog in any way since it is well balanced. He can not escape from it because of the extra strap under his stomach. It is suprisingly easy to put on. For some reason my dog does not pull as much in this as he does with other alternatives. I think it is because he realizes that there is no way he can escape it so he does not even try to. The handle at the back is a great feature when I help him down or up on things. It even looks great and the reflects shows clearly if any light hits him in the dark.
Only wished that they had the Palisades Pack in XS so I would not have had to buy the Approach Pack for him as well.

Excellent construction, solid harness, adjustment straps slip with usage
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
This harness is built strong with one exception. The adjustment straps that go across the chest and stomach slip. I need to adjust them after EVERY walk. I find this unacceptable in a product that is meant to be rugged and ruff/rough. Surely they can engineer a clip that would prevent the straps from slipping. Anyway, the straps slipping are the weakest link and the company should put effort into rectifying this annoyance and inconvenience. The rest of the harness is great. Quality construction, nice stitching, excellent fit, and good aesthetics are some qualities that put this harness above the rest. I give the RuffWear Webmaster a rating of 3 because the company shouldn't pass on the headache of slipping straps to the customer. They need to engineer a clip to prevent slippage. (Someone mentioned that "all" harnesses slip. This is simply not true. I have 2 other harnesses and they NEVER slip.)

Sometimes she responds when I pull. The handle is great too, although I haven't used it yet. You need to adjust the harness to fit the dog. I suggest they produce a small size, because Medium is still kind of big. I am so grateful this harness exists. Super safe.

I was looking for a harness that would fit my dog AND be impossible to back out of. This harness fits him like a glove. Even better, it doesn't interfere with his movement at all and he seems to work very comfortably in it. It's very well designed and well-made. Once again, I find myself very pleased with a purchase from RuffWear.

My dog is a master at backing out of her harness. This is back out proof. I am so happy I found this harness to run with her- it's amazing! Great quality. My only complaint is that you have to check the straps as they tend to get a little loose.

Another dog that was showing dominance attacked my 3yr old rottie. My dog could not stand up after this. He had to have back surgery. The only way I could move him around was having someone help me and we used a blanket to hoist him. He weighs 140 pounds. It's been two weeks now and this harness made his recovery remarkablly fast. I'm able to hold him up with ease. This harness made our lives easier.

LIFE SAVER !!

My border collie just turned 15 years old. Her spine is fused so her back legs are not working so well anymore. However, from her hips to her head she is sitll a happy dog who loves our four newly adopted children. With this 'magic' harness, I can assist her with her movement as she needs it. It does not restrict her movement and I leave it on her 24/7. It is comfortable for her and she knows I can assist her without having to pick her entire body up to go outsde to take care of her business. I am so thankful for this product. It has give the quality of life back to my best friend. I know she won't live foerever but she is too happy and healthy with the exception of her hind legs that needed assistance.

Our Bernese had her front leg amputated due to cancer. I purchased this harness to be able to assist her up and down occasionally like getting in and out of the SUV. I also hook her leash to it and it is much better hooking a tripawd up along her back instead of her neck where it is possible to pull her off balance. We love it!

Easy to get on and off, the attachment for the lead being between the shoulders is way easier (and safer) to control the dog than on a collar. Top notch harness - way better than you'll find at the pet store chains. The dog doesn't mind wearing it one bit.

Thank you so much for making this product. Our beloved lab lost her leg to cancer this spring and while she recovered quicking we needed to make a few adjustments. Always a puller (sled dog wannabe) her gentleleader now was hard to use. If you tried to get her attention you could send her spinning since she no longer had two hind legs to anchor herself. We read about your product and bought one as soon as her wound healed. It is perfect. Moving clip to her midback provides us so much more control and lets her keep her balance. The small handle lets us help her up into the car when she needs it. This is really one of my favorite products you sell and we own quite a few. We are going to be getting the booties (thank you for selling them separately) next.

This item was recommended by my co-worker. We have a 16 year old Keeshond, Princess, who has lost her vision and her sight and has been diagnosed with Canine Vestibiulits. We have ruled out several causes, leaving a possible brain tumor. Princess is now unable to walk stairs due to weakness in her back limbs. The Web Master Harness allows both my husband and myself to easily carry her up and down the stairs to and from our yard and vehicles. I have 2 herniated discs and my husband has recently had carpal tunnel surgery. We are now able to guide and transport Princess with one hand and without any stress on the back. The harness is extremely comffortable for her to wear throughout the day and causes no strain or stress when she is lifted. Thank you to my co-worker and Ruff Wear for providing such a wonderful item for our beloved senior pet.

I have an older dog that is missing a front leg and recently tore her ACL. She needed assistance getting around and this harness has been a wonderful solution. She can wear it all comfortably all day long, the handle on the back makes it easy to lift her up and down stairs, and it has held up to the extensive wear. I would recommend this harness for any Tri-pawed dog; it’s easy to put on and does not turn even on a front leg amputee.

Great quality...strong enough for our 82 lb. boy. Our friends purchased one for their Doberman and when we saw how well it worked for him, we immediately ordered one. We use it, primarily, for helping him get in and out of our motor home. He no longer collapses on the ground when getting out because we hold on to the harness and he has a soft landing when he touches ground. When getting him into the motor home, we just lift a little and he's up the stairs like a young pup.

This is what all harnesses want to be when they grow up.
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
We have two harnesses for our Husky/Retriever mix: the Web Master, and what we call his "courtesy harness." The latter is lighter and cooler, but I've timed him and it takes about 1.5 seconds to shimmy out of it. Or any other harness. If there's work to be done, there is nothing but Ruff Wear that's up to the task of keeping him safe, secure, and mobile. (And the belay handle is a godsend.)
The straps have elastic anchor-points to allow for the harness' snug yet mobile fit, so this isn't a "fix it one time and forget about it" harness; check the straps periodically when you first put it on to keep it fitting well.
My only complaint (and it isn't really even a complaint) is that I wish the Webmaster came in a green/black version for dogs still in training.

I've tried almost every "harness" available in the big chain pet stores and what I've discovered is the quality is poor, the price is high, and they perform very poorly when attached to my dog. If you have a dog like I do that tries to go after any animal she spots, then I would say the Web Master is the best choice for you and your dogs comfort, meaning it won't put any strain on your dogs vertebrae which could lead to serious injuries. The only downside is Ruff Wear is too far from the midwest.

Bought them 4 years ago and they are amazing, we walk most weekends up big mountains and I would say my crazy active dogs they have had at least 4000 miles! Great for lifting dogs over stiles, keeping control when there is sheep and we have plenty of them! plus I use them for running with the dogs as they have more freedom. Only design frustration is the buckle webbing on the coat is too short and if buckle breaks or spaniel puppy chews them you can't easily replace them. Time to buy another 3, but worth the money. Keep out of the puppy's way Im sure they will last a lifetime

Very good product - although sturdy, I specialy like it for being fleece-lined, and having the foam-padded chest assuring more confort for the pets. Just wish it could have a free-wheeling swivel attached to the "D" metal piece so that the leash would never get loose (what happened twice) when twisted. It is really a great alternative to a collar, and allows better distribution of pulling force

This harness is the best one I've ever used! I love the adjustability, padding, handle, sturdy attachment, and reflective stripes. I've been using it for 11 months now and it still looks great! With a service dog it gets a lot of use. I get lots of complements on it and tell them it is from Ruffwear. I like the padding so I can also use it in the car. The back belly band makes it easier to hold her back end up for brushing the long fur on her rear end. I like that the harness was designed to safely lift the dog, sometimes I can't bend over and have to lift her by the leash. This is a wonderful multi-use harness!!

I have one of the ruffwear packs and love the versatility and quality. A friend had purchased this harness for her elderly Swissy and really liked it. When my dog, Thunder became paralyzed due to a herniated disk I wasn't sure that I could manage him even if he regained some mobility. We are approaching 3 months post surgery. While Thunder may not ever return to 100% he is happy, mobile on his own and the ruffwear vest has become our new best friend. Thunder has put the durability of the handle to the test as I am having to use it now to slow him down more than help him up!

I'm training a replacement for my aging dog and he outgrew the working harness I had on hand. Because he's larger I will have him help pull my wheel chair and this harness is great. It can be easily adjusted to snug after a hair cut and fits him well without chaffing.
An attachemt at the neck strap would be helpful for being able to slip the harness on and off.

My orthovet gave me this harness after performing TPLO knee surgery on my dog. For the first 8 weeks, it is critical that the dog not slip while the bones heal. This harness was an absolute godsend. I could grab the handle to stop my dog from bolting or falling and I used the handle to ensuring that she could not fall when we walked up steps. You can just clip a leash to the harness and walk your dog in it. It is reflective so it even shows up in the dark.... It's very robust and well made. My dog wore it for 8 weeks and it still looks brand new.

A great solution for our special-needs pup
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
We recently have acquired an Australian Shepherd puppy with several spinal trauma. He was almost entirely without use of his back legs at 12 weeks, and now a month later, can (in a drunkenly fashion) walk, run, and bound around with his buddies— thanks in part to the Web Master harness. We have used it to assist in both walking therapy and in the pool during his swim therapy sessions. It gave us a great way to hoist him up, guide him through the water, or clip his back end to a leash to give him some support in the early stages of re-learning to walk. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first set of Ruff Wear Skyliner boots, just ordered yesterday, to give him the traction to walk on tile and linoleum a bit better.

I am a little embarrassed to admit that I bought this harness for my 5 lb Pom-chi. She is the Houdini in the family and after getting out of her regular harness 3 times in one day I looked to the Webmaster. So far it is working fabulously, she can't back out of it at all! The reflective detail on the harness makes for great visibility as does the bright red of the harness, (she is the perfect color to blend in with brush while on the trail) and the handle on the back makes it easy to move her or lift her over obstacles when hiking. I think it is safe to say that my other two kids will be getting a webmaster harness to call their own.

Love it!!!
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
We are owned by a 12 year old Siberian Husky whose front leg was amputated when he was approximately 2 years old (just before we adopted him). As he has gotten older, it has been more difficult for him to get up on his own. He was afraid of going up and down stairs and he really limited his activity. We have tried everything for him - acupuncture, supplements and a change in diet. No matter what we tried, the difficulties he faced still existed. We researched several harnesses and the Web Master Harness just seemed to be the best choice. It gives Niko the support underneath so that when we help him up, it doesn't cause him discomfort on his chest or belly. It is much easier to help him get up and move around, so he has become more active. He is still a little nervous on the stairs, but he is so much better than he was without the harness. The difference the Web Master Harness has made in Niko's life is amazing!

Since I had read the reviews and knew there might be an issue with the straps, I just added velcro to each strap. Problem solved!
This harness is sturdy and well made, and my pup looks great in it!

My husband and I bought this for our 2 1/2 year old, 18 lb., healthy hiking companion, Bailey. I just have to share how handy this harness has been to us. We have used it to carry our dog over very muddy paths, swollen creeks, and through crowds where she has almost been stepped on. We have also used this to quickly rescue her from an aggessive dog, to hoist her onto high walls at viewing points and to keep her settled and calm so that she would not jump on young children. We have had numerous people ask how to get one and of course we have sent them your way. Great Harness!

Excellent product. Well made. Spiffy looking. (makes my 13 y.o. hip displastic [sp?] border collie look like an athlete again.) I don't use it all the time b/c I want her to keep using her back legs as much as possible, but it's great for going to the groomer or vet office as she slips and slides and falls down on the slick floor. With the harness I can just pick her up and "fly" her over the slippery-ness. I wish y'all made socks (i.e. something soft) w/non-slip stuff on the bottom. The dog boots you do make are awesome but are too stiff and hot for Texas.

My smaller sized female boxer loves the harness. She walks very nicely while wearing it. Much better than with a neck collar. We got a larger size for my 91 lb Male Boxer and felt that because of his barrel chest the lower strap came too close to his private area and made him very uncomfortable. Se have looked elsewhere for a better harness for him but he does walk beautifully with his neck collar, so we'll stay with that. I would only reccomend this for female dogs.

SUPER
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
This is an excellent product for anyone who has a houdini dog. My Shiba has gotten out of every harness and collar I have tried, except this one. And since he goes berzerk for some dogs, especially those larger than him, I love that I can pick him right up by the sturdy handle until we our out of range. He is still in training, by the way. I am giving it five stars, but I would like to see a few improvements: First, the straps get loose; every time I have to sinch them up again... this dog shakes and rolls and wiggles a lot. More velcro? The second thing is the metal hoop to attach the leash has edges which are just sharp enough to be wearing down the nylon loop where it attaches to the harness. I sent in photos and they were very nice and said they had never noticed it but would look into it. So far the nylon has not torn all the way through, but I will be replacing the harness soon, just in case. The third thing is I wish this came in a cooler color. Like beige or light blue. It is hot in Wisconsin and this dog really gets heated up in red or black!
As far as customer service, they are great. One of the buckles broke early on, and they sent me a new one, which has worked fine. This is a great company, and I appreciate that this type of harness is available. It would be great for dogs that need a hand walking, too.

I have been looking and looking for a harness for my dog. I have even ordered a different one from another company, but wasn't happy at all. I saw a dog wearing this harness at the dog park, and asked his parents where they got it, and they directed me to your website. This harness if fantastic, it is everything I was looking for. I have a small mix dog, who goes everywhere with me. There are times when I have to pick him up quickly, like an unknown big dog running up to him, etc.; and he is very, very sensitive in his saddle region - so I can't just scoop him up. This harness solves that problem, with the handle on the top and the placement of the staps and latches - it distributes his weight so that I can now just scoop him up by the handle. Thank you so much! Great product!

Made Walatowa's last year great!
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
2 days after Christmas in 1994, I found a year old pup laying on the side of the road, the left rear leg broken and already healing with an angle in it. Walatowa is the Native name for the Jemez Mountains. So we named the dog Walatowa, Wali for short. Wali also had a fractured pelvis and a bullet in her abdomen. In the last 2 years of her more than 17 years in this plane of existance, she had trouble with the leg that had been broken. This vest helped me, with my bad back, get her into my small station wagon so she could go swimming, go to therapy appointments and maintain her mobility. Durable, easy to adjust, very effective product.

As a young dog he compensated for this and no one would have known he a problem. Age has caoght up with him and his front legs have some arthritis. The harness allows him so much more stability and easier for us to help him up if he does fall. Our vet was extremely impressed with the harness. I've also recommended it to friends who have a challenged, much larger dog. Keep up the good work. They already wear your winter coats, purchased many years ago. I bought this harness last year for my Border Collie who is quite the little escape artist when it comes to collars and other types of harnesses.
Love how you can tighten the harness once it is already on the dog for a quick adjustment and the handle on top. It is definitely worth the money if you are on the fence about it.
My only problem with it is that it does move side to side a bit on our walks even when tightened and when using the handle to bring my dog close it does seem to loosen the straps a bit but not that much that she can wriggle out of it.

My 85-pound golden retriever needs assistance getting into the truck/SUV, and having the handle allows me to pick her up more easily. We also use the harnesses (on both dogs) during our daily walks/outings. My only "complaint", as someone else pointed out, is the straps slip after a few uses and have to be adjusted frequently to ensure a snug fit.
Also use "The Beacon" (flashing light) for our early morning walks. Those greatly enhance visibility of the dogs. (Hint: They also work great on humans!)

I got this for my new rescue dog. He came to me with a back injury and became paralyzed in his hind limbs. The neurologist who performed his surgery suggested I get him a harness during his recovery. I'm so glad I got this one. I ordered the wrong size the first time around and by the time the new one arrived he was walking pretty well without assistance, but it's still been a great help. The handle is the best part. He can't do stairs and the handle allows me to pick him up and into my arms without really having to bend over. He doesn't like being carried around by the handle, but being 20lbs I'm able to carry him around once I get him in my arms. My only complaint is that the straps do seem to slip. I adjusted them to his size but after lifting him a few times the staps are back to the loosest fitting. This isn't a big deal, the harness doesn't fall off him or anything. I'm sure a stitch or two would keep them in place, but I do put a coat on him occasionally so I like being able to adjust the size. All in all I do love this harness and my dog doesn't seem to mind wearing it. By the way, he is 20 lbs and fits in the XS nicely.

My dog, who has escaped from every other harness I've put her in, cannot get out of this one. I would have given a 5 star rating if the straps did not keep loosening. I've solved the problem on the girth straps by adding a triglide buckle to each strap, a simple solution but, given the high cost of this harness, one I shouldn't have had to come up with myself!

They use the harness when he is on the underwater tredmill. 4 months later he can walk, gallop and generally get around. I keep him in the harness to control him(he is still wobely) and to help him get up from sitting when necessary. This is a excellent piece of equipment that I would be happy to recomend to any one. Great

I have two 90 pound pitbull mixes/rescues and they are monsters! They are only respectful of dogs that are bigger than them. So whenever, they see smaller dogs, they pull constantly! I use the harness on my girl all the time. (I don't attach the leash to the harness, she still wears a collar and I attach the leash to that.) The harness handle allows me to grab her quickly if looks like she's about to cause trouble. I even put the seatbelt through the handle of the harness to keep her in place in the car. My boy, unfortunately, tore apart the straps on his harness when I wasn't looking. Definitely going to order a new one for him. My girl has had her harness for about 4 years now. That poor harness has really stood the test of time on almost a daily basis! The material is pretty sturdy.

I have a 14 year old, 98 pound dog whose back legs started to fail nearly two-years ago. He is otherwise as healthy and happy as a dog his age can be, but he wouldn't have been able to get up and around without this equipment. I can easily lift him (as easily as one can lift a 98 pound dog) and help him walk in and out of the house. I can also help him reposition himself from one side to the other while he is lying on his bed. With some help, from time-to-time of a back-end harness, we are able to allow our dog to continue to live a happy life and to continue to experience seeing the world by walking him out and getting him into and out of our vehicle. I know I would not have been able to keep him these last few years without this excellent piece of equipment. It is sturdy -- my dog has worn this harness every day for more than 18-months. Am very grateful that Ruffwear makes this product. Thank you!

Best harness ever!
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
This harness is fantastic. I have a husky and find he doesn't pull as much while wearing it. I couple it up with a roamer leash that I wear around my waist to lower the pulling point to save my back and shoulders.
It's easy to put on, comfortable to wear all day and virtually impossible for him to escape from.
It also has a handy grab handle that's good for lifting him over gates and stiles and makes it easier to catch him when he goes off on one.
We've had ours for years and it's been through the washing many times and still looks as good as new.
I really couldn't recommend this highly enough.

Very positive, multiple uses, sturdy and dependable
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
As the owner of many dogs that are working and pets, we need products that are long-lasting and dependable. We have purchased multiple Ruff Wear Web Master Harnesses over the years for many of our dogs. I've never had one wear out, though I have had a dog chew several :)
We've used them for Senior dogs as a "lift assist", injured dogs as a product to take pressure of their necks, young houdini dogs that could back out of anything else, and even on a search and rescue mission into the WMNF when a dog had fallen into a crevasse and needed to be lifted out. The uses for this harness are endless and we've got a shelf of them on hand at our kennel ready for use at a moment's notice.
I can't recommend this product enough. I suggest that you measure carefully, I've found that I need to order a size down for a tighter/athletic fit.

We like this harness. It's strong and secure. Our dog can escape other harnesses, but this one holds him. We like the handle. It helps to pick him up when other dogs are approaching. He isn't always friendly with other dogs. The straps do loosen and need to be tightened almost every day. Also, with our male dog, there was a bit of a problem with him peeing on the back strap, but we removed the cushion and it's OK now.

AMAZING.
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
So i will start of from the beginning. And i would like to say, unlike most people on here, my dog is not an amputee or disabled. She is hyper and i bought this for going for rollerblades. I can honestly say i was worried about how it was going to fit. I have the climate changer coat in a XS that fits perfect, like a glove, and when i measured my girls girth it measured 19 inches (12 pounds) which is a XS in the webmaster as well. What i was worried about was the third strap not being able to adjust to fit her tiny waist, while her girth is quite larger (if you are familar with a sheltie/greyhoud build thier rib cage drops low while the stomach is small) and this fit her perfect. I even losened the third stap a bit to give her some room. Now for any fasonistas, this red is not a tacky bright red, it is dark like in the picture so dont worry. Everything does look exactly the same as a picture. Now the buckles are very strong, and the paded straps are very paded and soft. It is very easy to adjust (i know someone said it is hard to do? This must be your first time with these kind of straps, because i adjusted it to fit while she was wearing it in about 2 min) The handle is very strong, but VERY small on the XS, which i expected. I myself being a girl can get my hand in, my boyfriend can get about 3 fingers in there. (hahaha i couldnt help but laugh at that sentence...) And when you lift her up, she could care less so yes the weight is distributed evenly and the staps are comfortable. One tip i would sugest, if you are inbetween sizes, when you losen the staps there is less pading and more regular straps so if you go bigger you can always have it adjusted small and the paded will have more contact.
The only reason and i mean only reason anyone should not like this harness is if you have a male dog who has a short body because the strap will rub his parts. I have the knot a leash and it honestly is the way to go if you buy this harness. Hope this crazy long review helps someone with thier decisson.
I would like ruffwear to consider a light loop for this harness, along with a FEMALE and male fit. Also more colors for all thier products would be appreciated.
Oh and i also think ID tags would be a nice additon to your product list :)

This harness was recommended by Tripawds and I do not know how we could manage life without it. Our amputee is only 40 lbs but needs assistance to move 100% of the time. My back thanks you! I do wish that the straps would not loosen up- maybe somehow combine the plastic quick attach and the double back girth? I had to sew my strap in place to keep it from coming apart. (Remember some of us use this harness every single day not just hiking on weekends :)

We are very pleased with this harness, our 10.5 year old English Mastiff is recovering from radiation treatment complicated by a shoulder fracture and she needs extra help and support getting around. The product is well made, and very easy to use. It also seems to be quite comfortable, Lola has no objections to wearing the harness, even while sleeping. We had tried using the towel under the belly method, but she hated that and it was very diffucult to support her weight while fumbling with a giant beach towel. I would definately recommend this product for medical recovery, but I would also recommend it for everyday use.

Great harness, but...
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
This is a great harness, however I still have several complaints. First, the straps self loosen, this could easily be fixed if ruffwear had included a better method to tie up the loose end of the strap. My second complaint is that the webbing used to attach the leash loop to the harness is doesn't hold up to the repeated puling forces very well, mine has started to tear out the face fabric of the harness. This is silly because the the metal leash connecton point was made beefy enough to tow a car. All complaints asside, this is a great harness, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Though this is probably the best made harness I've ever purchased, I can't recommend it. My dog can still escape it. The harness loosens as the the dog walks. If you don't continually tighten it, they will escape. Even when tightened my dog has proven he can get out of it. No instructions on how to keep the harness fit and snug to your dog come with the harness. I have yet to figure that part out. Sorry I was hoping for something better here.

Harness worked very well on my female dog who is a strong puller and had elbow surgery which required me to keep her somewhat restrained for a while. It distributes the pulling force over a bigger area thus making the impact smaller.
One problem I had initially is figuring out why the straps seemed too short. I called and the system was explained - no problems thereafter. I think it would be a good idea to have some type of instructions concerning the straps on the harness. Also, as I am a short person I really couldn't reach the handle without bending to the side - I was missing about 2". Wondering if the handle could be made a little bigger from top to bottom to let short people use it more comfortably.

Subject: Doggie Handle
We are in our mid 70's. 4-1/2 years ago we inherited a 50# female Rotwieler-Huskie etc. (thus Roxy) who was then at least 12 years old. In April of 2009, it became difficult for her to get up by herself. Lifting her was difficult for us as we had our own problems. We searched every pet store in the San Diego area for some type of "doggie handle". No luck at all.
In early May, we encountered a young man at a park in
Seattle with his dog that had the answer. Ruff Wear. When we arrived home we immediately ordered one for Roxy. It helped extend Roxy's life about 7 months and save the knees and back of a couple of first time 75 year old dog owners.
Without the help from Ruff Wear, the quality of life for Roxy and her keepers would have suffered significantly.
Thanks for a great useful product.

Overall,it's a great harness. I spend a lot of time cutting wood, and use the harness to keep the dogs close, especially when farm animals are around. Both dogs don't fuss when it's on. I saw the harness 5 yrs ago online and bought it instantly. I don't like walking my Westie with a collar and leash -- a collar is can be hard on their throats. This is perfect! And, if there is trouble ahead, I can lift him in a second! It's handy getting him in and out of the car, too! Many compliments are shared when I'm walking with him as this vest is not really seen nor available in stores in this area. Since his first harness 5 years ago I have bought the newer styled Web Master for my Westie and my Pointer mix, and it's a much improved styled and functional harness. I have seen three-legged dogs wearing it and it seems very comfortable for them. Wonderful product -- well worth the investment!

She goes straight for the wheels. I can't tell you how many near misses we've had. She could just shake herself out of what ever colar or harness we put her in. I tried search for a full body harness and came across this one. I read all the reviews, and decided to try it out. It has worked like a charm. The belly strap, can't fit over her ribs so she can't shake out of it. She was on boarder of small and ex small. We went with ex small, its snug but it fits well. And she has finally learned she can't shake it off, and has stopped trying. Thank you! We would have done it all over again.

This is my third harness from Ruff Wear and definitely the most well thought out and designed. My puppy, Ella, has happy feet in the car. She does not sit still. For her safety and mine, I harness her in to the back seat. Using static climbing line attached to the baby seat anchor points, I can safely and securely bring my girl with me. It is very easy to put on and Ella looks so sporty in it. The reflective seams are a bonus!

Very good

I purchased this harness to assist my 13 yr old Belgian Tervuren male, Cajun, who had a bad Vestibular episode and needed assistance with his balance. The harness is comfortable for him, well made and the handle was easy to get my hand in and out to steady him when needed.I measured per instructions and purchased a medium. My only complaint is that the back of the harness hits him about 2 inches too far back so when you try to help steady him, it cuts up into his abdomen . He is a 26" tall 70 lb dog.Other then that I am very pleased with the quality, comfort and design of the harness.

We take our dog hiking with this and it's very useful for helping him up steep areas or lifting him over crevices. He can run freely with it, and it can be adjusted so that it doesn't chafe his armpits like other harnesses. He swims in it too. On cold days, it can be adjusted to fit over a fleece.

Best harness out there, especially if your dog is an escape artist. The extra belly strap keeps them from slipping out. We have 2 dogs (who are low to the ground and very, very strong), and this is the only type of harness we'll use. It's tough, durable, and super strong. I highly recommend it.

We have a 14 1/2 year old husky who has arthritis in her front legs/shoulders. She also has hip trouble. This is a great, sturdy harness to help keep her safe while taking walks. The only thing we would like to modify would be making the front loop a double buckle, one on each side. Our girl doesn't like to pick up her paw because it hurts so if we could put the harness between her front paws then click both sides in she wouldn't have to put a foot up to get it in the loop.Othrewise, the harness has been a helpful addition to keeping our girl active.

My canine companion(s): Beagle/Chihuahua Houdini
Safe, Sturdy, Houdini-proof
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
Maya is a beagle/chihuahua/houdini rescue that we've been trying to keep harnessed for the last two years --- since we brought her home. We've tried every harness, collar, martingale, straight jacket imaginable and every single one has failed us. She does this thing where she basically collapses her joints and backs out of whatever we're using to keep her safe. And then she's gone - darn mutt's a runner on top of being an escape artist. So, when I came across this harness, I figured what's another $50 if there's a chance it will keep her safe. Best $50 I've ever spent! She's been walking with it for 2 months now and not a single escape - knock on wood. Plus having a handle to lift her 14lb body out of harms way is a double bonus. The harness is strong, well built, fits comfortably (we went with the xxsmall even though her chest is 17.5in and it fits great. Snug but great). She doesn't mind getting into it and we don't have to fight or struggle to get it over her head which is great for my back. I love that it's reflective. I love that it has a handle. I love it so much, I'm getting another one for her non-houdini sister. Mostly because we need to get a handle on her. Only downside --- I don't love the color choices. I'm not the outdoorsy type. I have two female mutts that wear dresses. I hate that the colors are so utilitarian but I guess that's the point. Perhaps you would consider pink and turquoise in the future?

great for large dogs - not so much for small
Would you recommend this product?.: No
I bought the harnesses for all my dogs. It fits my male and female labs perfectly. For my silky terrier there was one big issue: the back strap rubs his penis! As soon as I put it on him, he sits down and won't budge. I've tried the smaller size, but that one is too small in the chest. I've tried to modify it to make a "work around" but it is less than satisfactory. I wrote "No" for recommendation but really mean "yes, with a major caveat: It doesn't fit all dogs." This was not an option on the pull down menu.

I picked this harness up for our 55 pound Golden for search and rescue when I need to load her into a helicopter. I love the padding and strong handle; yet I would like stronger buckles. The ones used on the belay harness would be great. I would gladly sacrifice weight for strength. I like the red color, but wish it came in the blaze orange that so many of us use for our search dogs. As far as the quality of the harness, it is by far the best that I have seen. We also have the Approach pack for when we go into the backcountry and really like the balance and storage capabilities of that pack as well.

Our Irish was very week in the back end due to DM. This product helped tremendously to hoist him up from laying down to standing. Well made, stays in place product. Wish they made a rear harness also. We still use this ruffwear harness and attach another brand rear harness to it now that our dog needs more rear support.Only negative: wish there was another clip so you didn't have to pick up the dogs leg to get through the hoop. But, that would be no problem for an active hunting dog which this product is made for.

My husband introduced me to this harness when we met. His standard poodle wore an older version when they went hiking. I have since purchased 2 for my babies. They are terrific as a lift assist for my older little girl and close hand held restraint for my big girl. They also make terrific safety harnesses in the car when paired with climbing grade carbiners. The dogs go every where with us and the harness is so comfortable the actually ask for them and can almost put them on for themselves. Sizing can be a bit tricky so make sure to measure accurately but otherwise, the grils don't wear anything but Ruff Wear now.

We have two westies (both males/both under two years old). Our oldest is a rescue dog who has done wonderfully but... having spent the first five months of his life with no care, the next two with excellent care but the run of a big fenced in yard and no leash he came to us at the age of seven months pretty uncomfortable with collar, leash, or harness. Until the Webmaster harness he was able to slip out of his harness and did so -to chase a squirrel, cat, another pup- on at least four occasions. Each time we caught him but it was a constant worry for us when we were out on walks with him. He is comfortable and happy in his new harness, has tried his old trick of just backing out of his harness, learned that he can't and has stopped trying. The Webmaster harness has been a real godsend.

I've tried other harnesses, but they are just strips of webbing and the harness scrunches up. The back of this harness is stiff (but not uncomfortable), so when I pull up on the handle, there is belly support. It's also a beautiful color (the red current) and people ask me about this striking harness when we walk in the park. Also, the company is easy to work with. If you have any problems, they will take care of them without a fuss. Great customer service. This is the leash you should buy!

I purchased this harness for my dog that was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in hopes that it would help her get around more easily. I work in a veterinary hospital and Ruff Wear harnesses are the only harnesses that our patients use while they are hospitalized. They work terrific for animals that have lost mobility or are currently weak due to illness. Unfortunately, my dog passed away before I received the harness. However, my young and very "full of energy" female pitbull of 60 lbs has taken ownership of the harness and my husband and I can't believe what a difference it makes in walking her. It gives us much more control of her and she seems very comfortable in the harness. Whatever the reason you use this harness, it is a great product and and my dog thinks so too!

I ordered this in XS is for a tubby little fellow and I based the size on the girth, as suggested on the size chart by Ruff Wear. I do wish they had also included the length in the size guide for this product. While the harness fits his chest perfectly, it is too long for his body and cannot be worn. What a shame, this really seemed like the perfect solution. He's overweight but has managed to slip out of every other harness we've bought, so it isn't safe to walk him. I'll gladly recommend this product because it's so well made, but have to take away points for lack of sizing guidelines.

I read the reviews and also called customer service because I was unsure if I should get a S or M sized harness for my dog whose girth is 29.5 inches. Customer service said to go with the small. It took three days to receive my harness which arrived today SATURDAY by FEDEX. Fast shipping. At first I thought the harness was to small. But with some thought and patience I figured out how to adjust the two straps. The part to adjust was hidden inside the comfort pad on the strap. The first strap behind his legs is at the end of the part of the strap that keeps the strap from pulling through the connector. Even though there is no more strap available to adjust the front strap, it is comfortable on my dog. I did have to loosen the straps under the neck for comfort. Very easy to do.The second strap on the belly is plenty comfortable with room for stomach expansion. Although if my dog got fatter the front strap would no longer fit any girth increase. I have a male dog and the back strap is positioned about two inches from his penis. No interference with urinating at all. My dog seemed to like this harness much better than his old no name brand one I bought a PetSmart. I also had very good control with this harness as our first time out we came across two labs being walked together who wanted to eat my dog. My dog responded with a bit of aggression and I was able to hold on to him easily because of this new harness. Because of his wrinkles I had to be careful with the old harness because on several occasions he was able to pull it off by backing away from me and wiggling it off. He will not be able to do this with the Ruff Wear Harness. Also keep in mind this is an athletic fit harness. If you don't have to worry about your dog getting out of his harness and your dog has a girth of 30 or more I would go with a medium. I almost went with the medium but because of the wrinkles and his ability to get out of every other product I have tried the small was the best choice for him. He weighs 63 pounds; if he gains weight as he ages I will have to upgrade to the medium. But I do love this harness. I was between black and red.. my kids choose black. I am sure the red looks great also.

My 15 year old boy had a weight bearing front toe amputated. I ordered this harness ahead of time and it came very quickly. I can't imagine how I'd have managed those first few days of rehabilitation with out it. It is the only one out there that provided support for his deep, heavy front torso as many others lack the firm chest straps. He is healing nicely now and slowly adapting to his newly configured front paw. The harness will be helpfull in future as age diminishes his leg strength.

We bought this harness for our 11 year old lab to get him in and out of the car. Because of his arthritis, he needs help with mobility and this webmaster harness is perfect. We also purchased one of these for out 6lb italian greyhound mix and though a tad big for her, she moves with ease on the trail and in our home. We also purchased the Palisades Pack which comes as a webmaster harness with the packs off, for our lab puppy and with that harness we can easily pull him out of the water or carry him across the hot blacktop to the park. This harness is a MUST HAVE for your dog. Well worth the money.

I purchased this harness for my elderly dog who has difficulty getting up when laying down and squatting to do you know what! It has made a world of difference in her life. The handle allows me to provide the lift she needs to get up with ease and feel secure when needed. I also really like the location of the leash hook. She no longer needs to wear a collar and I am able to gently lead her where I want her to go.

I bought this harness to help my old dog get up and down the stairs and for my puppy to wear while hiking. While there is at least a 10lb difference in their sizes, it fits them both. Mordecai likes having the extra help up the stairs and Max loves everything! It's nicely padded and comfortable for the dogs to wear. It was a little difficult to adjust the harness but once adjusted it fit great. This harness is also serving Max great while in training as a service dog. It let's me keep close control of him and put him where he needs to be. We love it!

We use it on our sailboat to keep the dogs from straying too close to the edge when underway. We also use it with this dog to keep her on the boat when we are at dock as she runs away in a heartbeat. It is great to know that she can't escape from this harness. We had an earlier version of this for our Dalmatian (who was bigger than our current "rescue" dog.) This updated version has a metal tether/leash loop which is much improved over the old plastic one. The padding has also been improved helping to keep chafe down to a minimum when the dog needs to wear the harness all day long.

This harness is the best i have ever found by far. Your dog will stay in place and the straps are nice and soft to avoid rubbing. People call it my dog's batman outfit because he looks ready for action. The only bad thing i will say is the lack of a light loop. I believe since the upgrade of the leash ring (GREAT) they thought that the metal might crack the light. I have put the light on the back strap but it flops around and it is not the same. Please fix this in the next model and you will have a perfect harness.

These harnesses are incredible. We have tried many, many harnesses on our working dogs, and none have performed all that well. Our dogs are working dogs, and when working on-leash are often pulling so hard that they cut off air flow by compressing their tracheas. These harnesses distribute the pulling force very effectively, and are the only harnesses we have found that work on hard pulling dogs. The mulit-point attachments and handle on the top are useful desgin elements, and they fit like a glove. The reflective trim makes for a great safety bonus. The first time we put them on our young dogs in training, we expected a fight.... they fit so well the dogs could have cared less. These are the best harnesses on the market!

My Sheltie is handicaped - she is semi paralyzed in her rear legs and I use the harness daily. I have two harnesses so I can have one in wash and one on my dog. The harness makes it easiler to assist her movement and to pick her up. She has also worn the harness for swimming and in a water treadmill. The Bark'n Boots are also fabulous! I use them on her rear feet when she is in her wheelchair to keep her toes from getting injured if she drags her feet. I don't know what I would do without either product because they make it so much easier to care for my handicaped dog.

These harnesses enable our dogs to assist us in pulling in the PWC's and allow us to "keep a handle" on them in dicey situations on the beach, since they are not law enforcement dogs. I do wish the straps were better contained. Seems as if the extra material is always flapping in the wind. Our labs are almost 100lbs. but thin and fit, so the straps are long on them.

Our vet recommended this harness after our dog had hip surgery (hit by a car). We were able to use this harness to help him stand up and to assist him in walking across our hardwood floors. We also used it to help support him when he went to the bathroom so that he didn’t put all of his weight on his back legs and re-injure himself. It has been a lifesaver. I am not sure what we would have done without it. I also want to comment on the excellent customer service at ruffwear. I called to order this on my drive from the vet as our dog was having surgery. He was coming home the next day, so I needed it right away. When I called in the late afternoon, I missed the normal shipping cutoff, but the customer service representative said he would talk to shipping and call me back. He called back within 10 minutes and they made a special exception to make sure this was overnighted to us so we had it when our dog came home the next day. Wonderful product and wonderful people!

Great

We used this harness on our Dalmatian when we sail. If he ever falls overboard or needs an assist getting aboard the boat the harness supports him well. It has fared well in the sun and more importantly the salt water. It works so much better than any other harness we've tried as it truly supports the entire body. Dalmatians are very deep chested and I worried that it might not fit or adjust properly, but that was a needless worry. The only thing that would have made him happier was to have one more quick release buckle so we didn't have to put one front leg through the opening. (He hated to have his front feet/legs touched.) I wish we had thought of using this immediately after he had his TPLO surgery this fall - what wasn't I thinking???

This is my second one. I used the first one on long hikes. It made it much easier to wrangle and older 70 pound dog up and over rock ledges. It gave out after three years of heavy wear and tear. Now I use this harness to put my dog out on lead in my unfenced yard, so we can relax in the yard together and she has freedom to wander around. Finally, my dog has very short hair and sensitive skin, so far the padding on this harness has protected her from any sore spots. Other less substantial harnesses have caused problems.

I got this harness as part of the Palisades pack for my dog Polar. The harness deserves separate review because it is such an excellent product. I'm a rock climber, so when I got hiking I like to scramble up some low-grade rocks whenever I see some. But my four-legged friend isn't as capable on the near vertical terrain, so this harness was a god-send in giving my puppy a helping hand on the harder sections. The harness fits well, Polar doesn't like me picking her up by the handle, but it doesn't seem like it's hurting her. The material and craftmanship is top notch, and the reflective trim is a nice touch.

I also love the fact that it serves well as a protective harness for the dog when in the car, so you can easily seatbelt her in. It is a bit pricey for a harness, but well worth the money. I purchased a Web Master Harness to assist my german shepard named Maxie, who developed GSDM several months ago. The harness has been a big help in assisting with her therapy walks. It has also proved it's worth in helping Maxie to walk through all the snow that we've been getting here in the east. Again great product. I've already recommended it to a few pet store owners to pass the word.

we bought this harness for our 78 lb senior labrador as she was recovering from surgery on her 2 front legs. The harness allowed us to help her navigate stairs and stand after surgery. The weight distribution and handle were great not only for our dog - but for our backs as well. When the vet's office saw it they agreed it was the perfect solution. I would highly recommed especially for larger breed

I was looking forward to receiving this becasue my dog has hip dysplasia and this product came highy recommended. It took a while for this to arrive in the mail. I took the measurements according to the directions. Measured twice, just to be sure. My dog is not a big Lab like so many. However, this harness is way too small. Sadly, I will have to send it back. Maybe I received one that was wrongly sized? I am not sure. I am thinking of sending this one back and ordering from another company becasue this did take a while to arrive in the mail. I would recommend this product if it fits your dog!

MiLa loves her new harness. Some call it her sports bra. Others call it her robot suit. Her favorite beach has about 30 steps to go up and down, and it was getting very difficult for her to handle them(she's a senior citizen at 13 years old). Not only has the harness provided the support to make it much easier, but I think she is being rehabilitated, too! So glad we found this product. I recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic!
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
We purchased the harness to assist our beagle post orthopedic surgery for a torn CCL. The harness has helped tremendously as we have frequently had to load her in and out of the car for vet and rehab vists as well as navigate many flights of stairs. The harness was easy to adjust and she seems to feel comfortable wearing it. If I had one con to mention, then it would merely be that the strap that goes just in front of her hind legs seems to slip easily, so we do have to adjust that one more than the front and it's a very minor issue since she loves the attention as we get her suited up. As her leg as strengthened, I still prefer the harness - she seems to tug less and appears to feel a little more secure. I highly recommend this product - it's well made, it works as described and really it has been the best find we've found since starting this orthopedic odyssey.

Awesome, great product!
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
A little over a year ago, I adopted an american bulldog who had lost her front, left leg in an accident. I had a hard time finding a harness that would stay in place. Regular collars did not support her well when she got clumsy and put too much pressure on her neck. The Web Master works absolutely perfect for dogs who are missing a front leg. I could't find any sort of harness made specifically for three-legged dogs, but this one fills that gap! Sadie has so much energy and loves to go, go, go when we go on our walks and this harness allows her to do so, because I am able to support her, so she saves her energy. The quality of the product is great. Totally recommend it. With the summer coming up, I know Sadie will my dying to go for a swim, so I'll be purchasing a Float Coat soon. If it's as durable and well-fitting as this harness, I'm sure it'll be perfect!

I'm so glad I found your products. My 8 1/2 yr old Weim has a neurological condition that makes it difficult for her to get up sometimes and not fall over while pooping/peeing. This harness is great. It allows me to pick up the 65 pounder off the floor with no problems and helps me hold her while she potties. I also got the Bark N Boots with the smooth soles for helping her walk on the tile floors from a local vendor you use in Altamonte Springs. They are great also. Thank you for making products that work so well and give our aging and injured fur kids a productive quality of life!

I bought a med & Lrg. of the harness for my 15 yr. old boxer who is having a hard time standing up by himself. I found it to be better than the other vet or internet lifting harnesses that I got. The only problem is that the back under strap is not wide enough for support on his floating ribs. Some kind of support between both under straps would be reassuring. It is also too close to his penis. The outwardhound harness is less than $20 & great for my purpose but it is only available in an Xlarge size.

I have purchased the Webmaster Harness as well, and it hasn’t worked very well for my lab. It stops him from walking because the chest padded strap seems too long and bothers his arms. Moreover, the harness moves too much, unless I strap tight, which he doesn’t like. I elongated the front strap so that the padded strap is behind his arms, but the rear strap across moves too close to his penis. The length from nech to tail is 21”, so that the medium should fit him, but I haven’t yet found a way to position this harness well.

The harness means that she doesn't get jerked around by her collar and the color and reflective material helps people see us coming. Everywhere we go people comment on what an amazing harness it is. The handle is so convenient too. We loved it so much we bought the Approach Pack for her for Christmas.

Comfortable, adjustable, easy to use
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
Our dog had spinal surgery last month and the neurosurgeon told us to get one of these harnesses. She said it was the only harness she knew of that was actually designed for a dog's comfort and protection. The strength of the harness back and the well-padded straps distributes the pull of the leash across his body so that the pull force does not impact his spine. We have been able to take our dog for walks without stressing about him lunging forward toward the occassional squirrel or slipping in the snow and ice. Our 40 lb Baja mutt has a very strange shape, but we were able to adjust the harness to fit him beautifully. We called the Ruffwear Customer Service to figure out what size to order and they were very helpful and accurate. One great benefit we really appreciate is the ease/quickness of getting our dog in and out of the harness. We have to come home from work several times a day to walk him and we need to be as efficient as possible with the short time available. The quality of the materials, design, and craftsmanship is incredible and we are very proud that Ruffwear is an Oregon company!

Excellent product but doesn't quite fit
Would you recommend this product?.: Yes!
Standard poodles are tough to fit in a harness. They have very deep narrow chests and relatively short bodies. My boy is very close to the breed standard in conformation, and is 60 lbs and 26" at the shoulder. He has had cervical disc surgery twice and needs a good harness. I bought the Medium from The Waggle Store two years ago after his first surgery and it was so long in the body it interfered with his privates. I had to cut off the back part of the harness to use it but it was still too big even when I adjusted the shoulders and breast strap as small as possible. This time I bought the Small. This one fits almost everywhere except the girth strap which barely makes it around his chest even adjusted to the end. If it were two inches longer it would work and I'd have a tiny adjustment left. THEN you could say it fits all dogs. In any case it's an excellent harness, well worth the price, and will fit NEARLY all dogs.

I love this harness. It has been an absolute life saver in helping stabilize a giant dog as he recooperated from numerous surgeries. He has Wobblers Syndrome and as a result, walks with an unsteady gait. The handle allows me to support my dane as he maneuvers slick floors (at the vets) and stairs. I was able to use the harness to directly lift up my 140 lb dog from the floor when he couldn't stand up on his own. Excellent to use while rehabbing dogs from acl surgeries. I recommend everyone to have one of these harnesses for the versatility.

I work for an organization that trains and places assistance dogs for individuals with disabilities, and am on an eternal search to find the "perfect" harness for a dog to comfortably pull a wheelchair. I've tried many, and returned almost as many. The Web Master harness, so far, may not be perfect but is the closest thing I've found - it adjusts to fit snugly on a variety of dogs (very important!), doesn't restrict movement, doesn't chafe under the front legs, and keeps pressure off of the trachea. The handle is unique in terms of pulling a wheelchair; most handles are oriented perpendicular to the dog, rather than parallel, however we've found that it actually has resulted in less "crabbing" and a nicer (and healthier/safer) movement overall. We've wrapped the handle to make it a bit softer to grasp and hold for long periods of time. At least for now, this is my new favorite harness, by a long shot - something especially impressive, given that it wasn't at all designed to be used in this manner (as far as I know).

My big guy is 12+ years old and has some arthritis and weakness from a growing abdominal tumor. He is currently in Vet Med acupuncture and is eating home cooked food which has helped him a lot. The harness has made it possible to help him in and out of the RV. Climbing a flight of stairs is easy now with a little lift from me on the handle. My vet appreciates how easy it is for the handler to lift him and move him around. Life is much easier and he is happier because of this harness.
