Let’s face it: summers in Florida are NO JOKE. If you’re not inside hiding from the summer thunderstorms that are actively trying to kill you, then you are trudging through a nature-made sauna. Needless to say, this is a heaven-sent attachment to allow my puppy to go for a walk while protecting him from overheating within 5 minutes of stepping outside. my GSPs cruise through 3 and 4 wire fences with grace and at speed. My bigger dog shredded the leading chest of the full Swamp cooler harness when he tried a 5 wire fence. He didn't get a scratch though. And these swamp collars make all the difference in summer and early fall. Now I am running two webmasters with the swamp cooler and belly pad interchanged as appropriate. I LOVE this modular system for my dogs. And it is much cheaper to replace the guard than an entire harness. I Love this system.

This add-on definitely helps here in Colorado. I have a working dog who has to be out in the heat and we tried it when it was over 90. It helps but isn't quite as effective as our Swamp Cooler Harness. I used it with a dark Web Master harness so she was absorbing heat from the top. I plan to use it when it's in the 80s. Also, it takes a few minutes to attach it to the harness. There is a lot of velcro to undo and redo.
