If you purchased directly from Ruffwear, we will issue a cash refund up to 30 days after the purchase date. For items returned after 30 days from the purchase date, a Ruffwear e-gift card will be issued.


For items not purchased directly from Ruffwear, please contact Ruffwear Customer Service to determine if your item is eligible for return. If so, you will be issued a Return Authorization number to be included with the return. Please contact us at support@ruffwear.com or call 888-783-3932, Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30 pm Pacific Time.

Returns

We recommend carefully trying on your new Ruffwear gear indoors, keeping the packaging intact, before your next adventure. Correct fit is critical to the performance of Ruffwear products.

Ruffwear will gladly accept a return for product that is in new, unused condition. Discontinued, used or damaged products are not eligible for return and will not be accepted.

To be eligible for a full refund or credit, new, unused products must be clean and free of dirt and pet hair. If the product has been tried on and contains pet hair and/or dirt as a result, all pet hair and dirt must be removed from the product to avoid a cleaning fee. Products requiring cleaning (including removal of pet hair and/or dirt) will be charged a $5 cleaning fee. Doubleback™ Harness: To qualify for an exchange or refund, the harness must be returned in clean and unused condition, with tags and literature attached. Please do not attach carabiners or tie into the harness if it is the incorrect size.

Load Up™ Harness: To qualify for an exchange or refund, the harness must be returned in clean and unused condition, with tags and literature attached. Please do not attach a seatbelt to the harness if it is the incorrect size.

We recommend insuring the package.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please make sure to include your contact information (name, address, phone, email) in your package so that we may contact you if necessary.

Ruffwear will issue a credit for the amount of the returned item(s) within two business days of receipt.  However, please allow up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable.

If you are not eligible for a cash refund, we will send you an email with your e-gift card exchange amount and directions for how to use it.  Please note shipping charges will not be included in the gift card amount.


Exchanges

For items you wish to exchange, please follow the return instructions above, and then place a new order for the items you would like. Exchanges are handled as separate transactions. Please note shipping charges are not covered in the exchange.
