Whiskey loves the outdoors as much as we do, however the terrain here retains the heat, so it gets too hot for his pads. We thought we'd get him boots. After reading other reviews first decided the price was so cheap, we'd get the sox too. The quality, appearance, & price are great. They fit great and he walks better in the boots with the sox under them.

I purchased these socks because my dog has dew claws and the boots rub on them really bad. The socks really helped with the rubbing. They do look really small when you purchase them but they are super stretchy and fit over my dogs feet perfectly so they were not too loose or too tight. The only thing is that the socks do slide down when walking so you have to fold them over the boots but they stay put after that. Overall they are awesome and really help with the rubbing. Plus they make it easier to get the boot on! Especially since my dog is not very patient with this part.

I could hardly jam them on my dogs feet they were so small. I got the largest and they were really tight and uncomfortable. bad product because of size

Her feet are a just between size, so for the boots to fit comfortably without slipping, the socks are the bomb!

The sizing ran big even for a small breed. Plus I noticed they make it easier for her to get out of her boots. I would recomend a clear silicone based print onf the outside of the socks to keep those things on without having them slip off. Also they need more colors. Pups gotta look fashionable while on hikes.

Figured I had to order same way as boots....got FOUR S. ETS!!! They were not sized as well. Are too small. Seem to be too tight. Haven't used them after the first time we got them.

I have found that the socks bunch up around his toes. so i fold the socks over the top of his boots, like you would do for a child's feet. then i add some athletic tape to keep them there.

Work great with Ruffwear boots! My dogs used to wear only the boot and hurt their paws during walking. After using the liners, no more problems!

when my dog has the boot liners on and she accelerates fast the rear ones always come off. if i put the rear ones on with out the liners they stay on but then her paw pads become torn and raw. she doesnt mind the booots until her pads tear open. i now dont use the boots or the socks anymore for the trail because i find she doesnt get hurt at all with out them. i only use them for hot days and for really uncomfortable terrain but not for all out crazyness

Bought these (XXS) in conjunction with the 2.0" boots. The boots I returned because my corgi wouldn't wear them and would take them off by herself. The socks, however, are awesome. She is comfortable walking around with them and they will be great for visiting friends that are crazy about their hardwood floors.

Murphy just loves his socks and boots. We bought them for him not sure he would take to them but he took to them the first time we put them on. he runs around like a crazy dog, he has so much fun. It keeps all the stickers out of his paws and what ever he seams to get in to on are walks. So when he sees his shoes he knows its walk time and he is happy.

Ordered the largest size available and was still way too small for my Great Dane

Purchased the liners for Abby's PolarTrex boots - so much easier to get her boots on. Boots just slide on without any more struggling! For the PolarTrex, the socks could be a little longer as they are about half as long as the boots. Also, Abby wears smalls on her front and x-sample on the back legs. I bought both the XXS/XS and the S/M socks, turns out that the XXS/XS fit both the back and front legs, so they may run a little big, at least for my dog. Overall, excellent product!

My boys wear the Grip Trex boots all the time when they play in our ocean bc of the lava rock, the liners are nice bc they're softer on their feet. I also use them when they travel in the car to keep my car clean :)

Very good quality boots. My shepherd needs protection when hiking these boots fit the bill. No boot dance for him put them on and he just started walking. I think he likes them too.He has injured his paw in the past while hiking not any more.

the liners fit nicely allow they might be a little short because they would slide down his paws while wearing the polar tech boots and bunch in the toes. Over all they are a good product but for my winter boots they didn't help much.

The liners help the boots fit better. They last well too.

These boots seemed silly at first, but they make getting the boots on and off easier and the give extra traction. A must with the boots!

Easy to put on, I use them with Embyr's GripTrex boots, as she has dew claws. She has no problem with it!

These are helpful in having the Bark'n Boots stay on, but the size seems small for my 85 lb Labradoodle. It's a real chore getting them on his feet, and I sense that they are too tight even though we bought the large size. When he kicks off the book the liners go too and I have lost two of them in deep snow.

I purchased the socks to protect my dog's feet from the shoes; however, the sock just match the shoe in size. With any activity, the socks slips down below the top of the shoe, resulting in chaffing on my dog's feet.

I purchased the socks based on the sizing and they seem too small. RuffWear will not exchange them as they have been worn (once). I understand but hope they'll provide a little more guidance to others trying to purchase socks for their dogs (it's unfamiliar territory).

Smooths out and protects the foot, making it easier to boot and preventing chafing inside. Helps make booting faster and more comfortable.

We use the Grip Trex boots to provide extra traction in the house and protect hind nails when outside as our older dog drags his back feet a bit. The socks are excellent and help make the boots more comfortable and assist with the fit. I've had no issue with them sliding down, but I tighten the boots very snug. The socks are a bit of a pain to put on. However, I've found a great work around. I took a plastic bottle, removed the top and bottom and smoothed with a dremel. I then made a verticle slice all the way through. The remaining ring can be squeezed down small and the sock slipped over it. Then the ring can be opened wider and the foot slipped into the sock. Lastly I just pull the ring up the dog's leg and open it to remove. Voila! If you are having trouble picturing this and would like images you can email me at erinlide@windstream.net. The booties sits and stay in position better with the liners. I would also suggest them to be a bit longer. As always it is well made.

Bought these to go with her Grip Trex Bark'n Boots, they are helpful when dry but if she goes into water, remove the liners for the hike back, wet socks can cause blisters too.

My dog was developing sores from just wearing the boots and this solved that issue for me. They do help in getting on the boots and if there are dew-claws these really help in getting them into the boot. I haven't found a easy method for getting them on my dog, but i am disabled person with limited use of my hands.

Some those those darn booties wear on my feet in the wrong place. These correct that situation. And they fir great.

These liners are well made but they do have a problem when I use them on my Aussie. After a few minutes of him wearing the liners with the boots, the liners will always bunch up inside his boots. My Aussie uses M boots in front and XS in the back, and they fit fine. I use the equivalent size liners so I should be using the correct size liners, right? The workaround I have is to fold the top of the liners over his boots so that they stay in place. I would help if the liners were a bit longer in this case. Highly recommend excellent quality and function

Noticed that the Ruff Wear shoes comes off more easy with the socks on... Sizing seems to be off; had the XS/ or the smallest size and still didn't seem right. Started off snug and worked its way off... How can a 3 yr old GSD have XS feet?

I'm giving them a 4 because they needed to be longer in front. These fit nice over his paws, however, they are not long enough to go over his dew claw and, when climbing over boulders/rocky terrain, they started wearing below his dew claw on his front feet and by the time we made it up the draw to a place to check/adjust his boots, there was blood below the dew claws in front. Back feet were fine. Test them out in a location you will be able to stop often without danger.

These liners should help with odor for the person who says the boots smell after a while. Wash them! But certainly, if you have the right size, they stay up and help the dogs feet fit better in the boots. We send a set in every Care Package!

My lab has an injury on the bottom of his foot, and these socks work well to protect it in the house. Stay on.
