The Beacon Batteries

Q: Is the battery for The Beacon replaceable?

A: The Beacon uses two 1.5 volt type 357 coin cells in either alkaline, silver oxide or lithium format. The batteries are available wherever watch or calculator batteries are sold.

To replace batteries:

1) Remove the lens by rotating counter clockwise.
2) Lift out the battery tray.
3) Remove the two coin cells.
4) Install the fresh cells (negative end nearest LED).
5) Replace the battery tray and lens.
