Perspiration caused by Bark'n Boots™ Grip Trex™
Q: Is it normal for a dog's paw to perspire or "sweat" when using the Bark'n Boots™ Grip Trex™?
A: Our Bark'n Boots™ Grip Trex™ are designed to breathe and allow for heat release through the paws. While only a portion of a dog's heat is released through the paws, air mesh uppers allow for air to flow through the boot, allowing the dog to properly perspire. We have not had feedback concerning a dog overheating due to wearing our boots.
If you are taking your dog on terrain where you believe paw protection is needed, the benefits your dog will receive from having it's paws protected will be obvious. As employees of Ruff Wear, we all utilize the boots with our dogs and find them to increase the amount of activity our dogs can endure with each outing.
