Bark'n Boots™ Grip Trex™ Toe Wear

Q: The toe area on my Bark'n Boots™ Grip Trex™ seems to wear quickly. Is this normal?

A: Sometimes when your canine drags his or her paws there can be some wearing of the toe area that can occur. To slow the wear or to patch a hole, "Shoe Goo" or other urethane sealers can be applied in a layer or two to the areas being affected. Basically it is like a liquid sole that when it hardens is very durable. McNett makes a product called Freesole® that is very durable and provides excellent wear protection. You can find this at most running shoe stores or outdoor/sporting goods retailers. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before application. You can also experiment with gluing a few layers of fabric or other durable material.
