Bark'n Boots™ Grip Trex™ and Water Use

Q: Can dogs wear the Bark'n Boots™ Grip Trex™ in water?

A: Although they are not specifically designed for water use many of our customers do use the Bark’n Boots™ Grip Trex™ in the water (rivers, lakes, oceans, pools). The air mesh uppers allow for the water to move freely through the boot which also shortens their dry time as it allows water to easily escape. The boots actually end up working as “paddles” for the dog and help them swim. The only downside is you do increase the risk of one falling off and losing it in the water, but they do float if one does happen to come off.
